Basketball Report It ftafi another sad Week for San Saba Basketball teams With. only the High School teafn captuflng a Victory and the grade winning two as the rest took their lumps, Basketball schedules haVe alsa beeft severely chopped in ah effort to Conserve energy, At least five games have been Cut from the Junior High schedule and bistfict has been split into two zohes to Cut travel time, Getting back to the games last week, Hamilton Varsity fcoys outran San Saba with DreWs scoring seven points for San Saba followed by Tisdale 6, Geldtneier 5, Spears, Jennings, Davenport and Wall 4 each and Salinas 2. In the 'B' game San Saba jumped off to an early lead only to see Hamilton come back and tie the game in the third quarter. After Hamilton held a brief lead San Saba spurted back to win 40-6. Hardman was high scorer with 17, Christian and Miles both had 8 and Martin scored 7.

In a Freshman game, Hamilton easily defeated San Saba 60-36 despite a 16 point effort by Hardman and 14 points by Miles. Reavis, Cisneroz and Cantu got 2 each.
