James Paul Hagan, 61, Rt. 1, New Haven, died at 11 a.m. Sunday at Veterans Hospital. He was a native of Nelson County, a veteran of World War II and a maintenance employee at the Holiday Inn in Bardstown. Mickey Nathanson, an employee, said that on July 12 a man called the market saying he was calling for the Breckinridge Inn and placed an order for shrimp and lobster tails, valued at $544. He said a man came to the market later in the day and picked up the order. Earl Blevins said yesterday that some- Brothers plead guilty in stabbings following concert Two brothers pleaded guilty yesterday in Jefferson Circuit Court assault charges stemming from the stabbing of an assistant attorney general and two lawyers after a concert in Louisville in April. Larry Baggett, 22, of the 7700 block of Dixie Highway, and Kenneth Wayne Baggett, 20, of Rt. 1, Shepherdsville, pleaded guilty before Judge S. Rush Nicholson to three counts of first degree assault each. Assistant Commonwealth's Atty.

Paul Richwalsky recommended that Kenneth Baggett be sentenced 20 years on each of the counts and" Larry Baggett, 10 years for each count. According to the written recommendation, Larry Baggett merely assisted in the assault of the three attorneys. The two are charged in the stabbings of Assistant Atty. Gen. Samuel E.

Isaacs II, 29, of Lexington; Paul Guthrie, 34, of Lexington, and Frank Reaves 35, of Winchester. Isaacs suffered multiple stab wounds in the chest. Guthrie was stabbed once the abdomen and Reaves was stabbed twice in the back. The three attorneys were accosted in a parking lot near Louisville Gardens after a concert on April 9. Richwalsky said that the brothers provoked a fight and one of them pulled a knife and stabbed the attorneys.

Richwalsky said the brothers had earlier been thrown out of the concert hall after attempting to provoke a fight with the attorneys. Young Jr. pleads innocent on drug charges Dr. C. Milton Young a Louisville physician, pleaded innocent yesterday in Jefferson Circuit Court to charges that he illegally sold drugs. Young, 77, of the 700 block of Zorn Avenue, was arraigned yesterday before Judge S.

Rush Nicholson. The Jefferson County grand jury last week indicted him five counts of trafficking in controlled substances, which included both narcotic and nonnarcotic drugs. The indictment charges him with selling liquid Demerol, Empirim and Valium on five dates in April. Young has an office in the Doctors Office Building, 250 E. Liberty St.

He was arrested last April after a monthlong investigation during which an undercover narcotics officer allegedly purchased narcotics from him. Nicholson set Sept. 28 for the trial. Young has been released on his own recognizance. Family loses all in house fire in Bullitt County Thurman Richards, his wife, Anna, and their six children lost all their belongings early yesterday when their four-room rented house near Lebanon Junction in Bullitt County burned to the ground, according to Mrs.

Richards. "Didn't save anything but what we had on," she said yesterday from a friend's house in Louisville. She said she was concerned about finding a new residence. Both Mr. and Mrs.

Richards are unemployed. The children yesterday' were staying temporarily with her mother, Pearl Perkins of Lebanon Junction. Mrs. Richards said the family discovered that their house was on fire when they returned home about 1 a.m. from visiting relatives.

She said her husband called the Lebanon Junction Volunteer Fire Department but that firemen refused to come because the family didn't have $100 to pay for the run. Fire Chief James Wilson said Mrs. Richards' account was not correct. He said a man called early yesterday morning and reported his house had already burned to the ground. Wilson said his department never refuses service because of a lack of money.

Edward C. Thirlwell 74, of 4400 Comanche Trail, died at 8:05 p.m. Saturday at Methodist Evangelical Hospital. He was a houseboat designer and former owner of Thirlwell Electric Co. He had been an engineer for Woodhaven Medical Services since 1968.

He was a member of the Fortitude Masonic Lodge 47, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine Temple and the Kentucky Society of Hospital Engineers. Shortly before 11 a.m. yesterday, CW0 Joseph A. Miles was laid to rest in his Southern Indiana hometown here, 11 days after his death in a shooting incident in North Korea. Full military honors were accorded Miles, who was piloting helicopter that apparently strayed into North Korean territory and was shot down. Three Americans died and a fourth was captured and later released.

Miles, 26, is survived by his wife, Linda, and two children, Jennifer Ann, 7, and Christina Jo, 5. He had returned to Korea on July 4 after a month's leave. The helicopter was shot down July 14. A military band and a 40-member Army detachment from Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis led the procession to the gravesite at St.

John's Cemetery. As the band played "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," three helicopters flew over the site. An honor guard fired a salute to Miles after a brief ceremony at the gravesite. Miles' three brothers, John, Jack and Jeff, helped bear the casket to the grave.
