Colorado City, owned by Holland Duell earned $11,300. The winning entry paid $4.80, $2.60 and $2.20. Chief Sun Dance paid $4 and $3.40. In the second race, Bolo Granite was disqualified from first and placed last for bumping three horses coming out of the gate and Joe Charlie was moved into the winner's spot. He paid $115.20, highest price so far of the meeting. Then in the sixth race Dorna May, first past the wire, was disqualified for interference and placed third.

Derby King, Miles Park race results elevated into the win spot after the stewards' action, returned $6. BELMONT Herbert Allen's Misty Noon, ridden by Heliodoro Gustines, scored a two-length victory in the Jamaica Estates Auxiliary Purse on the turf. The 3-year-old son of Misty Flight-Rae Liberman, was clocked in 1:42 35 for the 1 116 miles, beating Caezar P. Kimmel's Knight of the Road, who took the place by 2 12 lengths over the Lightning Stable's Hydronaut, the favorite. Misty Noon paid $13.40, $6.80 and $3.20.
