He was the son of Daniel and Mary Larkins and received his education at the Prairie flower school. He lived his entire life in the vicinity. His parents preceded him in death, one infant brother, Earl, and one sister, Mrs.

Edith Rieke. The survivors are one brother, Lloyd, one sister, Mrs. Zelda Mosier, seven nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Chester Tuesday, June 6, and interment was in the Chester cemetery. Luke Rene Denoyer Luke Rene Denoyer, son of Ella and Alarie Denoyer, was born in Palmer, Dec.

28, 1386 and passed away at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville, on May 28, 1967 at the age of 80 years and 5 months. He lived in Palmer until the year of 1904, when he moved to Republic Kan. On May 25, 1910 he was united in marriage to Ida Pearl Tedrew. To this union six children were born. In 1918 the family moved to Scandia where he spent the remainder of his working for the railroad, and service station attendant until his retirement.

On May 25, 1960, he and his wife celebrated their Golden Wedding. He was a member of the -Scandia Masonic Lodge, of which he was secretary for many years, and a member of the Modern Woodman. Preceding him in death was two sons and two daughters, his parents, two sisters; Mrs. Bertha Thomas and Mrs. Dora Tipton, one brother.

Twin Denoyer. He is survived by his wife Tearl of the home, two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Vernice Cardwell, Scandia; Mr. Mrs.

Lenabelle Willis, La Junta, three grandsons; one brother Leonard Denoyer, North Loupe, three sisters, Mrs. Louise Strom, Scandia; Mrs. Esther Mahagan Lincoln, Mrs. Celia Powars, Republic, many nices, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were at the Bachelor Faulkner Dan Funeral Home, Scandia, May -31, sronvi 'cl son officiating.

Interment was in White Rock Cemetery. Graveside services being conducted by banon Lodge No. 221, A.F. A.M. of Scandia.

LADDIE C. Laddie C. Stierwalt, son of Charles Stierwalt, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Stierwalt, Hubbell, lost his life in Vistman, May 26.

survived by his wife, parents, sister and brother, grandparents, and many other relatives. LENORA CARPENTER Mrs. Lenora Carpenter, 80, of Lincoln passed away Friday, June 2. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wilber (Beulah) Huber, two sons, Vinton of Weldon, Iowa and Leland of Lincoln, four grandchildren, thrae great grandchildren, one brother, Vinton Brown of Hubbell and many other relatives.

DWIGHT MOSIER Dwight Mosier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight L. Mosier of Denver, passed away at Denver, June 5, 1967 at the age of nine months. He is survived by his parents, two sisters, Joyce and Charlotte of the home, grandparents, Mr.

and Mrs. Charlie Popelka of Munden; Mrs. Frank Mosier of Phoenix, great grandmother, Mrs. Merton Pressnall. Funeral services will be held from graveside Friday, June '9, 1907, 1:00 p.m.

at Tabor Cemetery. Henry Kalivoda Henry Kalivoda was bom oh a farm four miles northeast of Agenda to John and Rosalia (Benyshek) Kalivoda, October 30, 1898, and passed away May 20 at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 20 days. At the age of three he fell and injured a nerve so he never talked again bwl understood when talking to him. Mass was at the St. Isidore church at Cuba, sung by Father Mattass and burial was in the cemetery there.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Anna May and Bertha, one brother. He is survived by his stepmother, Antonia Kalivoda, two si.sters, Barbara Regnicr, Agenda, Julia Hudson, Westminster, three brothers, Frank, Agenda, Steve, Cuba, John, Wray, a ho.st of relatives and friends.
