'0 MUSCATINE JOURNAL AND NEWS-TRIBUNE- TUESDAY, JULY 14 Section of News and Features for The Journal's Women Readers Miss Bolund Is Bride of Mr. Con -way A pretty wedding ceremony at 8 o'clock mass this morning solemnized the marriage of Miss Dorothy G. daughter of Mrs. Peter Bo.uncl, 210 Bridgeman street and Walter Conway, ton of Mrs. Jarnes Conway, 118T Hershey avenue.

The couple was attended by Miss Gladys Bolund, sister of the bride and Phillip Conway, brother of the bridegroom. The Rev. Father Hannon officiated at the single ring ceremony. The bridi: was gowned in a white chiffon and lace creation with a large picture hat and laca mils to match. She also wore crystal beads, a gift of her sister Gladys.

Her bridal bouquet was of pink rosebuds, baby breath and smilax. The maid of honor wore a flowered organdy gown with a white picture hat. Miss Genevieve Plessy sang "Ave Mario" and "Sweetheart of Jesus" during the service with J. Kline at the organ. A wedding breakfast at the Japanese room of the Hotel for the immediate relatives followed the ceremony.

The couple left on i motor trip through the north and will return in a v.eek to make their home in Muscatine. Mr. Conway is a graduate of the Muscatine high school with the class of 1922. Ho attended St. Ambrose college, Davenport and is at present employed at Huttig's factory.

KITCHEN SHOWER HONORS AND MRS. HULL West Liberty A kitchen shower was given for Mr. and Mrs. Louie Hull by Miss Louise Bridgford and Miss Mildred Adams at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Amy Mills Saturday night, July 11. The evening was spent dancing-, card playing and in giving a mock wedding ceremony. Mrs. Antone Ogren and Mrs. Gus My ers acted as the bridal couple.

Thomas Martin was the minister. The couple received a number of presents from their friends and neighbors. The presents were delivered to Mr. and Mrs. Hull in a wagon decorated in pink and blue crepe paper.

It was drawn by Dorothy Strong of Muscatine and Sadie Faulkner, sister of the bride. Mrs. Hull was formerly Miss Juanita Faulkner. Those present were Mrs. Ella Faulkner and children, Foster, Herbert.
