THE HEARNE DEMOCRAT, FRIDAY, MAY 21, 1954 PERSONALS Col. and Mrs. Charles M. Mills and son, Hank, arrived last week for a visit with her sister, Mrs. A.

J. Nigliazzo, Mr. Nigliazzo and son, Marc. Col. Mills left at the weekend for a visit with his parents in Nederland and will join his wife and son in Dallas this weekend.

They will continue to McClelland Air Force Base in Sacramento, California, where he will be stationed. Until recently they were stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. thy Fleming, Elaine Ely, Donna Williams, Lee Martin, Sammy Corpora, Sammy Wilson, Betty Birdwell, Kay Gibson and Deborah Anderson. Mr. and Mrs.

Eddie Kueneke, Mrs. Edd Castle, Mrs. Clare Whitaker, Mrs. Elmo Peek of Hempstead, and Mrs. Wright of Sherman were guests in the C.

Kingsley The Rev. Kenneth Conway of Bryan filled the pulpit at both services Sunday. We are all happy with our new pastor and we had several visitors. The four-inch rain we had last Tuesday put good rnolsture in the ground but it was out lots of the fields but it was good for corn and tomatoes. Out our way the little grass and weeds are doing good now and are making more hoes work.

Mrs. A. R. Kingsley spent last week in Houston visiting the Clyde Ruthfords and Mrs. Carrie Carlilie.

She was accompanied on the trip with her daughter, Mrs. Travis Weedon of Bryan. Jim Stewart of Franklin spent the weekend with his nephew, Louis O. Threadgill, and family and was a visitor with his niece, Mrs. W.

B. Kingsley, and Mr Kingsley and Mr. Threadgil! drove over from Wheelock where he visited his brother, Bill Stewart. Mr. and Mrs.

Majors drove out from town and were dinner guests of Mrs. Bena Nash Sunday. Mrs. G. W.

Sims and G. W. Sims Jr. were out visiting her sister, Mrs. L.

L. Jones, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Birl Russell were out visiting in our community Friday.

Mrs. W. B. Kingsley has been carrying berries to people, saying they are so big and nice. She picked 11 gallons Monday and has plenty more to pick.

Mr. and Mrs. I. Woodall of Edna visited Mrs. Barbara Laughter and Frances and Mr.

and Mrs. J. G. McClung over the weekend. Mrs.

Houston Young was in Waco Friday and was accompanied home by her daughter, Miss E'Lane and friend, Miss Jeanie West, students of Baylor University. Webb Bishop, student of John Tarleton College at Stephenville, pent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C.
