Meurer DETROIT (AP) — Raymond J. Meurer, 69, one of the original promoters of the popular Lone Ranger, Green Hornet and Sergeant Preston network radio series, died Tuesday. During (he 1930s, Meurer helped form the public relations firm of Trendle, Campbell and Meurer, which promoted the Lone Ranger show. BY HOUSTON BALLET HOUSTON (AP) -The Houston Ballet will open a subscription season on Oct. 24 in Jesse H. Jones Hall. Performances are scheduled from Oct. 24 to May 10. The season will include three world premieres :"Con Spirito" and "Allen's Landing," with choreography by resident chc- regrapher James Clouser, and a work by John Taras of the New York City Ballet
