Mr. Marcum retired from Liquid Transport Co. in 1974. Mrs. Marcum, the former Sibyl Orell Clark, retired from Clark Printing Co.

in 1976. They were married Jan. 1, 1935, in Louisville. Mr. and Mrs.

Glasco O'Neal Richburg of Louisville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at their home. Mr. Richburg retired in 1978 from Highlands Cleaners and the old Louisville Nashville Railroad Co. Mrs.

Richburg, the former Lois Streeter, retired from Central Uniform Rental in 1968. They were married Dec. 16, 1934, in Crenshaw County, Ala. They have sevens children, Mr. Dorvis Richburg, Gilden Richburg, Ms.

Geneva Cunningham and Mrs. Glenco Robinson, all of Louisville, Mrs. Jurel Mae Leigh and Mrs. Burnice Breckenridge, both of Plano, Texas, and Master Sgt. Bonnie Richburg of Camp Lejeune, N.

14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Floyd Robinson of Mount Hermon, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 26.

Mr. Robinson is a retired farmer, a former magistrate of Monroe County and is associated with Farmer's Tobacco Warehouse in Glasgow, Mrs. Robinson is the former Bonnie Belle Hays. They were married Dec. 26, 1924, Celina, Tenn.

They have a son, Mr. Donald Robinson of Mount Hermon. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe C.

Smith of Louisville will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary next Sunday. Mr. Smith retired from the Brown Williamson Tobacco Corp. in 1960. Mrs.

Smith is the former Carrie Thelma Pedigo. They were married Dec. 23, 1924, in Glasgow, Ky. They have two daughters, Mrs. William D.

Carter and Mrs. Arthur C. Plato, both of Louisville, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs.

George Swincher of Louisville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last Sunday. Mr. Swincher is retired from the Louisville Gas Electric Co. Mrs. Swincher is the former Irene Metzger.

They were married Dec. 9, 1924, in Louisville. They have a daughter, Beverly Lane of Louisville, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs.

H. H. Turley of Louisville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary next Sunday with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at Fellowship Hall at Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. Mr.

Turley retired in 1976 from the Louisville Police Department as a lieutenant colonel. Mrs. Turley is the former Anna Frances Fowler. They were married Dec. 24, 1934, in Louisville.

They have two children, Irma Meade of Richmond, and Mr. Michael Turley of Louisville, and two grandchildren. Retired Col. and Mrs. Horace S.

Zimmerman of Louisville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary next Sunday at 7 p.m. with a family dinner at Hasenours Restaurant. Col. Zimmerman retired from the United States Army in 1962. Mrs.

Zimmerman is the former Zoa Mae Cline. They were married Dec. 23, 1934, in Glen Allen, Mo. They have three children, Mr. Horace Dewayne Zimmerman of New Albany, Elizabeth Zimmerman Yoke of Mooresville, and Mr.

John Cline Zimmerman of Louisville, and four grandchildren. WEDDING Laura Marie Dodge and Eugene H. Kremer IV Laura Marie Dodge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald F.

Dodge III, and Eugene H. Kremer IV, son of Dr. and Mrs. Eugene H. Kremer III, were married yesterday at 12:30 p.m.

at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. All are of Louisville. Mrs. Lois Ann Nugent of Corydon, was her sister's matron of honor. Miss Kathleen Thoben of Bowling Green, Ohio, was maid of honor.

Brittany Ann Nugent of Corydon, the bride's niece, was flower girl. Mr. William P. Rompf of Schaumburg, was best man. Groomsmen were Mr.

Gerald F. Dodge IV, the bride's brother, of Jackson, Mr. John D. Kremer, the bridegroom's brother, of Louisville, and Mr. John S.

Belanger of Lexington, Ky. The bride, a member of Chi Omega and Rho Lambda, is a graduate of the University of Louisville. Jacqueline Rose Pound was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Helen Carrithers, the bride's sister, and Miss Becky Carfield. All are of Jeffersontown. Jenny Coleman of Louisville was flower girl. Mr.

Craig Allen Humphrey of Jetfersonville was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Thomas Pound of Jeffersontown, and Mr. David Lynch of Jeffersonville. Aron Coleman of Louisville was ring bearer.

Henrietta Glasscock and the late Mr. Malcolm Ray Word were married Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of Our Lady. All are of Louisville. Mrs.

Denise Harris of Louisville was matron of honor. Mr. Mark Hopper was best man. Ushers were Mr. Michael Harris and Mr.

Couples planning weddings have the choice of either an engagement announcement or a wedding announcement, but not both. Pictures of the bride or bride-to-be may be used with either announcement but are not required. Because of the large number of announcements we receive, you must submit your engagement announcement at least two months before you want it published. The announcement is published in the first Sunday newspaper after the wedding. Any announcement received after that deadline will not be published. Only photographs wallet size or larger can be used. A 5-by-7-inch glossy photo will reproduce best in the newspaper. Although a color photograph may be submitted, not reproduce as well as a black Photographs will be returned if a stamped, addressed envelope is enclosed.

Accent publishes announcements of the following anniversaries: 50th, 55th, 60th, 65th, and above. Information about the anniversary must be received no later than two weeks before the Sunday you wish it to appear in the newspaper. We do not use photographs with these announcements.
