Hardin man facing 3 counts of murder in auto-wreck deaths Special to The Courier -Journal ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. A Hardin County man has been indicted on three counts of murder in connection with an automobile accident that killed three people last September. Phillip Gibson, 25, of Route 8, Elizabethtown, was indicted yesterday by a Hardin County grand jury. A murder warrant was issued for Gibson after Robert McGrew, 57; his wife, Sylvia, 56; and a friend, Linda Clark, 27, all of Leitchfield, were killed in a wreck Sept. 25.

Police said Gibson's car collided with one driven by McGrew on U.S. 62 in western Hardin County. Gibson's car then collided with another vehicle before it struck a tree. Gibson suffered serious injuries. M.
