DBS MOINES - The Iowa crime commission faces a projected 15.6 per cent decrease in federal'block grants for local crime control projects for the federal fiscal year starting this Oct. 1. The grants, under the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration, are expected to total $4.6 million. This is $850,000 less than the grants received for the last fiscal year. Way, executive director, but funding for project continuations is being cut down. Most projects are set up for three years with the commission's funding share decreasing each year.
