(AP) - No one knows how or why Bullet, a 10-pound dog, got his. head wedged in a 4-inch steel pipe, but it took some two-footed friends five hours ot get him out. D.A. Ludlum found the canine trapped in the quarter-inch- thick pipe. Two' hours of hacksaw work removed part of the "collar" but left Bullet with his nose still sticking through the large end of the pipe.
