Sunday. George Watkins, 68, of 2321 Boiling died Thursday at his home. He was a native of Clarksville, Tenn, and a retired construction worker. Survivors include his mother, Maggie Watkins; three sisters, Mrs. Rosie Gilmer, Mrs.

Minnie Horton and Mrs. Dorothy Hackett all of Clarksville; and two brothers, Frank J. Watkins of Clarksville and Sylvester Watkins. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at G.

From Lti Angeles Timet end AP Dispatches LOS ANGELES Vaughn Taylor, a mild-mannered character actor who appeared in television and film productions from "Playhouse 90" to "Jail-house Rock," has died in Los Angeles at 72.

The veteran actor died of a cerebral hemorrhage on April 26 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, spokeswoman Tess Griffin said yesterday. TV Guide magazine wrote once that Taylor had television's "most deceptive face." He appeared in TV's early days on such shows as "Robert Montgomery Presents," "General Electric Theater" and "Kraft Television Theater." A spinal condition forced him to retire in 1976 after his last TV role, in "Eleanor and Franklin." He appeared in his last motion picture, "The Gum-hall Rally," and his final stage role, in "Captain Brassbound's Conversion" at the Pasadena Playhouse, the same year. He was twice nominated for an Emmy as best actor, in 1951 and 1952. Kis film career began in 1951 with "Up Front" Kis other credits include "Meet Danny Wilson," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and "In Cold Blood." Another death: Kal Winding, the Danish-born trombonist who left a distinctive mark on the band of the late Stan Kenton, yesterday In Yonkers, N.Y. Winding, 60, had been hospitalized with a brain tumor for several months.

During his time with Stan Kenton, Winding was featured on such recordings as "Artistry In Percussion," "Bolero" and "Collaboration." He also had worked for Benny Goodman. He worked during the 1970s in the Merv Griffin TV show orchestra and had been touring extensively In Europe while living in Spain. The Rev. Felix S. Anderson Sr, a retired bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion church and a former state representative, died Thursday at his home In Louisville.

He was 91 and lived at 741 S. 44th St Anderson, a native of North Carolina, was elected a bishop In 1960. Before he retired In 1972, he served as a bishop of AME Zion churches in Kentucky, North Carolina and Alabama and had been a presiding bishop in Kentucky. He was a longtime paster of Broadway Temple AME Zion Church. He represented the 42nd District in the Kentucky General Assembly for three terms from 1954 to 1960.

In 1958, he became the first standing House committee. His survivors include his wife, the former Bessie Bizzell; four sons, Felix S. Anderson Jr. of Baltimore, Bishop Herman L. Anderson of Charlotte, N.C, Theodore M.

Anderson of Detroit and Joseph D. Anderson; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian E. Robinson of Lincoln, Neb, and Mrs. Helena S.

Haney of Geveland, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Broadway Temple AME Zion Church, 662 S. 13th St, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation at A.

Coast Guard and Civil Defense authorities resumed searching yesterday for 21-year-old Gordon Bulla of Mount Vernon, who fell Into the Ohio River from a tugboat on Wednesday, a Coast Guard spokesman said. Bulla, a dock worker for Mount Vernon Barge Service, fell near the Southwind Maritime Centre, according to Jeff Bayer, vice president of the barge company. He said Bulla was unable to swim. Bayer said a life ring was tossed to Bulla from a nearby barge, but the other employees were unable to save him. From Staff and Special Dispatches A 22-year-old Scottsburg man died last night after his car ran off IND 160 in northern Clark County and hit a tree, state police said.

John J. Parrott died of multiple injuries at the scene, Clark County Coroner Edwin Coots said. The accident happened about 7 p.m. In another accident, a 21-year-old Borden man died early yesterday after his car ran off IND 60 near Borden and flipped several times. Indiana State Police said Douglas L.

Schleicher, of Route 2, died at the scene of head and neck injuries. Police said the car ran up an em bankment and flew through the air more than 100 feet. Schleicher was a member of Atkins Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Richard L. Schleicher; a brother, Rick Schleicher of Jeffer-sonville; a sister, Kimra Schleicher; and his grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Balmer of Floyds Knobs. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, with burial in Grace-land Memorial Park in New Albany.

She was the former Lillie M. Wood, a native of Sparta, and a member of Fourth Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruby L. Rogers of Mrs.

Mildred L. Slaughter; two sons, Rogert G. Felton of Columbus, and H. B. Felton a brother, William L.

Sunday. J. W. Honshell Sr, 52, of 2404 South Park Road, died there Thursday. He was a native of Woodburn and a retired exterminator.

Survivors include his wife, the former Imogene Allen; six sons, J. W. David and Anthony Honshell, all of Memphis, Monty, Joel and Eric Honshell; three daughters, Mrs. Janet Staley of Memphis, Mrs. Debra Obrick and Miss Gwendolyn Honshell; a brother, William H.

Honshell of Bowling Green; three sisters, Rose Lee Butler of Florida, Mrs. Mary F. Lowery of Bowling Green and Mrs. Dorothy Ash-lock; and 26 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m.

Saturday at Arch L. Heady Okolona Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Roy Albert Hughes, 64, died Friday at Audubon Hospital. He was a native of Meade County and an employee of American Standard Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Catherine Powers; two sons, Thomas Hughes of Brooks and Paul Hughes; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Metz of Elizabeth, and Mrs.

Fourth died there Wednesday. He was a native of Roanoke, a retired assistant superintendent for Stratton Terstegge a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 220. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sharon Ann Ream; a son, Howard E. Hunter III; his mother, Mrs.

Irene Hunter; a brother, Rodney B. Hunter; and four grandchildren. The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel at Resthaven Memorial Park.

36th died Friday at Baptist Hospital East of injuries suffered April 30, 1981, in an automobile accident at Second and Chestnut streets. She was an employee of Central Parking Systems and a member of Manly Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James R. Kelly; a daughter, Theresa L. Kelly; a sister, Mrs.

Miss Tammy Ridgeway, two sisters, Mrs. Almeta Diemer and Mrs. Barbara Hall; and a brother, Hullman Ridgeway. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman Funeral Home in Mount Washington, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.

Visitation at the funeral home will be after 1 p.m. Saturday. Mrs. Dorothy Lucille Boone Rob-bins, 47, of Route 2, Loretto, formerly of Louisville, died Friday in Lexington after an illness. Survivors include her husband, Norman E.

Robbins three daughters, Mrs. Sandy Thompson and Angela Robbins, both of Loretto, and Mrs. Vickl Hester; two sons, Norman E. Robbins Jr. of Loretto and Keith Robbins; a brother, Herbert Boone of California; and five grandchildren.

Victor Roerk Sr, 80, formerly of 1611 Spring Drive, died Friday at Humana Hospital Suburban. She was the former Jennie L. Rhudy, a native of Jefferson County, Ala. Survivors include a granddaughter, Lisa A. Roerk.

John B. Salerno, 86, of Brick Kiln Lane, died Thursday at SS. Mary Elizabeth Hospital. He was a native of Palermo, Italy, a retired employee of Reynolds Metals and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.

Duane O. Sears, 68, died Thursday at Highlands Baptist Hospital. He was a native of Davenport, Iowa, and retired credit manager for General Electric Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Shirley Quinn; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Kraemer of Springfield, and Mrs.

Kathleen Paddock of Placentia, a brother, Jay Harold Sears of Des Moines, Iowa; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be at noon Monday at St Martin Catholic Church, 636 S. Joseph Don Sparrow, 68, of Shepherdsville, died Thursday at his home. He was a native of Washington County and a retired employee of International Harvester Co. He was a retired employee of Rainbo Bakery and an Army veteran of World War II. Saturday. HENRYVILLE Robert L. Reul, 43, died Thursday at Clark County Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 651, Royal Arch 144 and Seymour Commandry. Survivors include his wife, the former Darlene Torstick; a son, Kevin Reul; three daughters, Kimberley, Kathleen and Karen Reul; his father, George E.

Reul of Louisville; two brothers, James and Daniel Reul, both of Louisville; and a sister, Mrs. Sherill Roth of Louisville. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation at Stewart Funeral Home will be after 4 p.m. Saturday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the building fund of Masonic Lodge 651. JEFFERSONVILLE Alma Herd White, 80, died Friday at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was a former schoolteacher and a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include her husband, Wilfred T. White; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Schnider, Ollie and Mary Herd, all of Middlesboro, and a brother, John Herd of Valdosta, Ga. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Eastern Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. JEFFERSONVILLE Agnes Fisher Polston, 78, of 946 E. Seventh died Friday at Clarksville Healthcare Center. Survivors include two sisters, Clara Jonas of Salem and Louella Jonas of Pershing.
