TITONKA LOCALS Mr. and Mrs. Glen Miller of Floyd visited friends and rela- .tives in Titonka on Friday and Saturday. They came to attend the Alumni Banquet. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Carlso n and family, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Carlson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carlson and family, all of Algona, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Carlson were Friday, Nov. 22 guests in the home of Mrs. Axel Carlson to help her celebrate her 75th birthday. Sunday guesits for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carlson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Menke and family, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Carlson, Brian Carlson of Ames and Marvin Carlson of Grinnell. Mrs. Russell Krominga was a Monday dinner guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Krominga at Mason City. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beed, Ginger and Charla, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Beed were Thanksgiving dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Schram at Clear Lake. Mrs. Glen Miller of Floyd was a Friday afternoon coffee guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Jaren. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Larson and Eric of Humboldt, and Mrs. Helen Krominga were guests over the Thanksgiving weekend i n the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Krominga at Mora, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Cosgrove and Steve returned home Sunday after spending the Thanksgiving weekend in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dayle Bruns and Scott at Lakeview, Ark. They report that trout fishing is great at Bull Shoals Never Sail Trout Dock. Thanksgiving Day dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Carlson were Mr. and Mrs. Axel Carlso n and Carol and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carlson and family of Burt, Mr. and Mrs. Jeftn Carlson and family of Whittemore, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carlson and family of Algona, Marvin Carlson of Grinnell, and Brian Carlson of Ames. Brian is spending his quarter break visiting his par ents and returned to Ames on Sunday. Sunday afternoon visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Hove were Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Folkerts and boys, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Van Hove and family of Buffalo Center The occasion was in honor of Mrs. Van Hove's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Krominga and Kelli Jo of Rockford, 111. were Wednesday through Sunday visitors i n the homes of their parents and grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Krominga, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Meyer at Woden. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hofbauer and daughter have moved back into the apartment in back of the florist shop. Sunday post-Thanksgiving dinner guests -in the home of ! Mr. and Mrs. Earl Knudson were Mrs. Matsie Muller of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Mrs. Elsie Frailey and Bud Frailey of Yuciapa, Calif. Mrs. Hele n Jaren and Cheryl Jare n were Thanksgiving supper guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Jaren. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Boekelman and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hoover and family left a week ago Wednesday for Umbarger, Texas where they spent the Thanksgiving holidays in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ferguson. Mr. and Mrs. Henry VanHove were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Seaiberg. Mr. Carl Callies had surgery on his hand at Rochester re cently. They visited Stacey Goodrich while there.
