AHOclatttm- TITONKA LOCALS (Written for last week) Ginger Seed of Cedar Falls spent the weekend in ,the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beed. Mr. and Mrs. Glaus Krull were recent visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Krull at Lake Mills. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Walrod attended services Sunday at the Calvary United Prebsyter- ian Church near Barmim and enjoyed the fellowship dinner at noon which was catered. The church was observing its 75th anniversary. Afternoon services consisted of hymn singing and reading letters from former pastors and members unable to be present. Of the six Walrod brothers and sisters, five were present to enjoy the occasion as .their parents were among the charter members of the church. Two brothers are still members. There were many plants given in memory of parents, grandparents and great-grandparents who had been a part of the history of the Calvary Church. It .was a very happy even/:., enjoyed by all who attended. Mrs. Herman Chandler of Dayton, Ohio visited for ten days in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Welhousen. On Saturday the Welhousens took Mrs. Chandler to Mt. Ayr to meet Mr. Chandler and while there they all visited Mr. Chandler's mother, Mrs. Oy Chandler, who is a resident at the Clearview Nursing Home. The occasion was in honor of her 84th birthday. Joyce Boekelman of Royal spent the weekend visiting in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Boekelman. MERK Phone 295-5567 Algona, Iowa Cheryl Jaren and Mac were guests for a delicious dinner Friday evening in the home of "Pres" Smith in Phoenix, Ariz. Sunday supper guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lament Junkeraneier were Mrs. Elmer Junkermeier, Mrs. Emma De Boer, Mr. and Mrs. Bpadford Buffington, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Uken and boys. The occasion was a surprise birthday party for Tracy's 5th birthday. Cake and ice cream were served later in the evening in honor of the occasion.
