TITONKA LOCALS Dr. and Mrs. Fredrick Ray- man, Carl, Tom and Laurel of Austin, MLnn. were a week ago Sunday visitors in the home of Mrs. Em Callies. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Taylor of Elmore, Minn, were Sunday aftenoon visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bahling. They also called on Mr. Frank Bahling at the Titonka Care Center. Mr. Phil Jaren accompanied by Mrs. Helen Jaren drove to the Sioux Falls airport on Sunday to meet Mrs. Phil Jaren and Cheryl who had returned from Phoenix, Ariz, where they had spent the past 10 days visiting in the home of Violet Jaren and with Mr. and Mrs. George Buttes. The main feature, of course, was getting acquainted with the new grandson and nephew, Christopher George Buttes. Mrs. Buttes was re-hospitalized a week ago Sunday for surgery but is coming along fine now and hopes to fly to San Francisco, Calif, and join her husband in their new home there. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Davis and Duane of Swea City were Friday evening callers after the Swea City-Titonka game in the home of Jaren. Mr. and Mrs. Phil (Written for last week) Mrs. Henry Orthel entertained her bridge club Tuesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gerdis, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Gerdis, Mr. and Mrs. Don Gerdis, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Gerdis, Mr. and Mrs Cecil Heifner of Fenton, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hugo of Thompson and Bertha Gerdes were guests of the Paul Gerdes family of Woden fpr a fish fry VOTE FOR VERN RAFDAL REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR Kossuth Co. Mr. Russell Finken returned home Monday from Mercy Hospital in Mason City where he had been a patient since Thursday. He injured bis back and will be confined to his home for a time. Mr. and Mrs. Bradford Buffington were Sunday callers in the Alfred Redenius home. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Yutuseler of Missouri Valley spent the weekend in the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Pinken.
