TffONKA LOCALS Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Redeni- us, Alvina and Arlene, and Mrs. Julia Stecker visited in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Perry Hefty of Hubbard on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Higgins were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Callies at the Callies cottage on Upper Hay Lake at Jenkins, Minn, from Monday through Saturday. They did a lot of fishing and also visited the Clarence Friests at Cross Lake. Other guests at the Callies cottage were Mr. and Mrs. Rex Austin of Crystal Lake. On Wednesday, the Callieses and their guests went to Lake Win- nebigoshish to fish for the day and do some sightseeing. Mrs. Helen Jaren was a Monday afternoon coffee guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Cosgrove. Sunday afternoon visitors in the home of Mrs. Viola Spear were Mrs. Grace Isebrand of Woden, Miss Cheryl Johnson of Britt, and Mrs. Ellen Boelkes. The occasion was in honor of Viola's birthday. Mrs. Isebrand was a weekend visitor. Sunday evening visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Menno Fuls were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Boekelman. Randy TJaden of Galva was a weekend visitor in ithe home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tjaden. Chad Evans of Buffalo Center was a Saturday overnight guest in the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Biekelman. (Written for last -week) Mr. and Mrs. Layton Nonnweiler took Mrs. Clair Nonnweiler, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nonnweiler to Minneapolis on Monday, where they took a plane to their home in the Los Angeles, Calif, area. G. Huber and helped them celebrate their 55th wedding anni- versary.
