Louise Breathitt, a member of one of Kentucky's most prominent political families, died yesterday in Hopkinsville. She was 81.

She was the daughter of James Breathitt, a state attorney general in the early 1900s; a sister of James Breathitt, who was lieutenant governor from 1927 to 1931; and an aunt of Edward T. "Ned" Breathitt who was governor from 1963-67. La Grange man, 63, electrocuted at farm Special to The Courier- -Journal LA GRANGE, Ky. A 63-year-old La Grange man was electrocuted yesterday while working on a barn at the FarAway Farm in Ballardsville. Frank L.

Hedges of Route 1 struck a live electrical wire with an aluminum extension ladder he was carrying. Hedges was taken to University Hospital in Louisville by the La Grange Rescue Squad. He died in the emergency room at 3:50 p.m., according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Robert C. Carter. The body was taken to Atkins-Radcliff Funeral Home in La Grange.

Stanley Jr. dies; was late senator's son Special to The Courier-Journal BETHESDA, Md. The funeral for Augustus Owsley Stanley 75, a retired naval commander and the son of the late U.S. Sen. A.

O. Stanley, will be tomorrow at the Fort Meyer Chapel in Arlington National Cemetary in Arlington, Va. He died Wednesday at Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. He was a native of Henderson and graduated from Wharton School of Finance in Philadelphia and George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He served with the Navy in the Pacific theater during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, A. O. Stanley III of California and Thomas Stanley of Arlington, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Larry Spellbring of Annapolis, Md. Burial will be tomorrow in Arlington National Cemetery.
