The 1 '4 -mile event at the Hallandale, track is the weekend's biggest money race. Five others, including Bob's Dusty, will oppose Jumping Hill and Sensitive Prince. El Peco Ranch's Jumping Hill, top-weighted at 126 pounds, set track records in his last two starts. He went 1:50 in winning the l's-nn'e Saul Silberman Memorial by six lengths, then clocked 1:46 in winning the Donn Handicap.

Top the Marc Stable's 4-year-old Sensitive Prince, 120, returned to competition for the first time in five months last Saturday at Gulfstream. He won a seven-furlong allowance by seven lengths in 1:21, just one-fifth of a second off the track mark, to indicate that he still has the speed that made him a strong Kentucky Derby contender last spring. Bob's Dusty, winner of the Clark Handicap at Churchill Downs, was runner-up in the Silberman and winner of Calder's William L. McKnight on the grass. Another possible threat, Silent Cal, 119, was third in the Donn.

Meanwhile, Raymond Earl, a 4-year-old runner who scored in the Super Bowl Handicap in January, gets his number called again in the $50,000 King Cotton Handicap at Oaklawn Park. The colt is expected to be favored against 12 rivals in the 5i2-iurlong King Cotton. He is highweighted at 126 pounds, with his stiffest competiton expected from Tiger Lure, 121, and Amadevil, 120. At Santa Anita, Little Reb, 123, winner of the seven-furlong Malibu in January over Radar Ahead and 1978 Horse of the Year Affirmed, tops a seven- horse field including White Rammer and Copper Mel in a division of the Sierra Madre Handicap. The other section of the 62-furlong grass; event finds Sanedtki under 125 pounds and Maheras packing 121.

AQUEDUCT It was racing as usual, but betting only for "win" or the "daily double," at the New York track yesterday as substitutes replaced striking mutuel clerks for the benefit of some 5,000 fans. The strike resulted from resistance to automated betting, which is expected to reduce the need for clerks when a computer svstem becomes operational at Belmont Park on May 13. Aqueduct, Belmont and Saratoga are operated by the New York Racing Association. The strike in its first day had blocked all on-track betting, diverting the betting business to Off-Track Betting Corp. The track lured some patrons with free admission, free parking and programs, a policy that was continued yesterday.

Aqueduct was still working to repair its 550 betting machines, which were sabotaged in advance of the strike.
