Funeral, 10 a.m. Friday, Vankirk Funeral Home Dr. Hugh Price, exat UK, dies Special to The Courier -Journal LEXINGTON, Ky. Dr. Hugh Bruce Price, 89, formerly of Lexington, died Tuesday in a Louisville hospital.

He was a retired professor of agricultural economics at the University of Kentucky. He joined the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture staff in 1929. Previously he was a professor at the University of Minnesota. During his 30 years at the UK, he served as head of the economics and agronony departments. He was also administrative assistant to the dean and acting dean for a year before his retirement in 1959.

He was a native of Tulare, S. was graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and received his master's degree from the University of Minnesota and his doctorate from Yale. He was an elder of the Second Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Survivors include three sons, Dwight L. Price of Lexington, H.

Bruce Price of Madison, and Dr. Glenn Price of Bay Port, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred Moore of Jeffersonville, 11 grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at W.

R. Milward Southland Funeral Home in Lexington, with burial Lexington Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. here, with burial in Campbell Cemetery, Knox County.

HOPKINSVILLE Kenneth Eugene Bush, 13-year-old son of Mr.and Mrs. Felix Bush, was found dead on his farm Wednesday. According to Christian County Deputy Coroner Dr. Clyde Flanigan, he apparently died Monday of a berry aneurysm. Visitation will be at the Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home here after 6 p.m.

Record 240 million rode planes in 1977 WASHINGTON (AP) The nation's airlines carried a record 240. million passengers in 1977 and expect to top that with 260 million this year, the Air Transport Association reported yesterday. In an annual report, the association said airline earnings were $754 million last year, up from $564 million in 1976. Chicago continued to be America's busiest airport in with 19.2 million passengers boarding. Atlanta was second with 14.9 million and Los Angeles was third with 10.9 million.

Next were Dallas-Fort Worth, 8.4 million; New York's Kennedy, 7.7 million; New York's La Guardia, 7.6 million; Denver, 7.1 million; San Francisco, 7 million; Washington National, 6.2 million, and Boston 5.6 million. Army says draft notices should be put in trash cans HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) Dozens of Huntington-area high school seniors have received draft notices, but Army spokesman Drier said it's just a "malicious prank." Drier said the notices, printed on military stationery, instruct recipients to report to active Army duty within 20 days.
