Methodist WSCS Has Mental Health Program The scope of constructive work done in the field of mental health was described by Mrs. Kenneth Sharretts, guest speaker for the Thursday night meeting of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the First Methodist Church. Mrs. Sharretts told the women, meeting in the general society session, of the activities of the Greenville society in assisting the general program of mental health, and mentioned new attitudes towards the problem of mental health.

Mrs. Thomas W. Hodge led the devotional period, and Mrs. Earl McDaniel conducted the. routine business meeting.

Mrs. R. L. Rose, secretary of spiritual life, announced the inauguration of a new study for the hours of 1:30 p. m.

on March 28, April 4, 11, and 18, at the church. Plans were made to present the magazine "Mature Years" to chunjh "shut-ins" in personal home and also to make a number of preparations for the Grove City District meeting here on April 24. The district meeting, for which the local WSCS is hostess group, is to begin with registration a. include morning and afternoon sessions. The local society also is to serve two meals on March 23 when the district orchestra group meets here.

A board meeting, led by Mrs. McDaniel, followed the session. Newcomers Study Group Changes Meet to Monday Members of the Newcomers Study Group are asked to note a change in date for next week's session. Instead of, meeting Tuesday, as scheduled, the group is to meet Monday evening in the home of Mrs. William Manson.

Specialist Black, a radio repairman in Headquarters Battery of the division's 54th Field Artillery Battalion, entered the Army in June 1955 and completed basic training at Fort Knox, Ky.
