Prayer meeting, Thursday evening Through Trains from St Louis, With Supper and Breakfast at Lincoln. The Lincoln Journal has the following to say of the new through route from St. Louis to Omaha, Yia Atchison and Lincoln By a movement between the North Missouri, the K. C.

St. Jo and other roads, the Missouri Pacific, which has heretofore run a through train to Omaha on the other side of the river, was left out in the cold, without any northern connections. In consequence, and as a checkmate, it has entered into an engagement with the B. the A. N.

aud other connecting links, so as to run a through train, without change, and with Pullman sleepers, all the way from St. Louis to Omaha, by the way of Lincoln. This is more than welcome news to Nebraskans, and i9 especially favorable to Lincoln. This thruugh train, on coming from the South, will reach Lincoln about eight o'clock in the morning, and will stop here for breakfast. Returning it will be here, going south, about six or seven o'clock in the evening, and take supper here.

This will give our people the chance to take a sleeper here at night, and reach St. Louis early the next day. Returning, they can take the train in the afternoon at St. Louis and be home next morning for breakfast. This certainly something to be proud of.

Another advantage is that of an extra train to and from Omaha. By it we can go to Omaha in the morning, attend to a large amount of business and retrurn in time for supper at night. This route is some sixty miles longerthan that over the K. St. Joe C.

B. road, but will avoid the odious and delaying transfer over two Missouri river bridges and so will make the same time and carry passengers and freight at the same rates as the other route. This arrangement will takeeffeet from and after Monday next. As a result of present express trains on the A. N.

will be discontinued the St. Louis express carrying passengers from the principal stations, and a passenger car on the freight trains will accomodate the way stations. No change is to be made in the express trains of the B. M. they Tuning as before.
