The new station is called KRVM. and is believed to be the only one in Oregon which will be used entirely for educational purposes.

There will be no commercial advertising on the station. Only One L. L. Erdman, vocational school director, said he believed the only setup similar to Eugene's is in Portland, but that the schools use the facilities of a commercial sta-j tion there. The new station in Eu- is owned and operated com pletely by the school district.

KRVM was operated on a testing basis during December, but has been idle during Christmas vacation. Programs will be resumed Monday, Jan. 4, and may later increased from two hours to a full half day during weekdays. Schools Use Most Eugene schools will have at least one room equipped to receive the FM radio programs from the vocational training center. Col in Kelly Junior High School already is equipped with loudspeakers in all classrooms, and students at Eugene High School will have their own studio for broadcasting purposes.

"Health is a pre-requisite to happiness and prosperity," he said, "so this year why not include in your resolutions the rules of health. Learn and practice these Im portant health habits. lear Lake School Site Vote Coming Voters in the Clear Lake school district will be called to vote for a site for their new school build ing in the near future, John L. Luvaas, attorney for the district, said Saturday.

A site donated by Frank Kin ney, real estate man, was ap proved by the voters in an elec tion Dec. 30 when they approved $28,000 bond issue to build new school. However, Luvaas said, a state school construction man "did not like the site," and voters would be given a chance to ponder his three other suggestions or overrule his decision.
