THURSDAY, DECEMBER 26, 1558 TEXICO The Women's Society of Christian Service of the Union Chapel met in the home of Rev. Mrs. Rosemary Harris in Mt. Vernon Tuesday, Dec. 17 for business meeting and Christinas dinner arid regular monthly lesson. Business was held at 11 o'clock. A delicious pot luck dinner was served at the noon hour. Mrs. Rita McKinney was the lesson leader, topic being "The Light Is Come.'* There were 10 members present. A Christmas was held after the program. Mrs. Louise Kelle and Tommy and Mrs. Connie Keele and Alan visited Thursday pf*<*moon with Mrs. Bita McKinney and Mrs. Rosemarie Blankenship and sons. Master Kenyon Hails spent Wednesday with Mrs. Rita Mc-. Kinney and Mrs. Rosemarie Blankenship. VERNON, ILLINOIS 3TEEL SPHERE dwarfs workmen at a nuclear power plant being constructed at Wuergassen, Germany. Instead of first constructing the sphere and then the building around it, German engineers saved about eight months' labor by doing both projects at the same time. The giant ball was then placed inside the building through a wall left open for it. It took about a week to move the sphere from its construction site to its final position inside the reactor building.
