OK A./ OF KOUTIIWKST KANSAS: The date of the reception of the head ofllcers has been definitely fixed for Thursday, April 8th, at Wichita, Kansas. The rate of fare on all lines within 150 miles of Wichita will bo one single fare for the round trip. Special trains will be run on the following lines if the sale of tickets from the following stations will warrant: To secure a special train on the Missouri Taciflc, west, the sale of tickets at Hutchinson must reach 100. To secure an excursion train on the Wichita and Western to sale of tickets must amount to tho following number: Pratt, 40; Cunningham, 10; Kingman, U0; Cheney, 20; Goddard, 10. To secure a special train, Santa Fe south the sale of tickets much reach: Winfield, 40; Arkansas City, 30. Rock Island, south, Wellington, 40; Cald well, 20. To secure a Bpecial train, Santa Fe, north, the ticket sale at Newton must reach 40; Peobody, 50; Florence, 25. On the Missouri 'Pacific, south, Anthony, 40; Kiowa, 20. Tho sale of tickets is not confined to neighbors, but includes all tickets sold on that day, to return at the respective stations between the initial point and Wichita. The special rate of one fare will be in foree whether the trains run or not. The. programme will include a parade of neighbors from the hotel to the hall and banquet at 2:30. A camp of instruction at 7:30 p. in., at which the adoption degrees will be exemplified and at which Augusta enmp No. 001 will exemplify the new ritual of Dr.Edi son, of Illinois. This new ritual will likely come before the head camp for adoption and this opportunity will be given the neighbors to see it in advance. A 9:30 p. m. ball, complimentary to the head officers and visiting members. All camps desiring to take part in the parade will please communicate with H. H. Carr, chief marshal, Hutchinson, Kan. The entire cost to each for banquet and ball will be $1.00 a ticket. The members of the invitation committee will be furnished with invitations for their camp membership, and tickets will be sold by tho clerks of each camp. The committee has to guarantee the sale of a fixed number of tickets to the banquet, and the camps participating must guarantee to the committee fixed number of tickets from each camp. This guarantee miut be in the hands of the committee not later than April 22. This guarantee of attend ance is of the utmost importance and must be made by April 22. This committee will gladly furnish any neighbor with any additional in formation that may be desired. From information at hand we believe that not less than 500 and probably 1,000 neighbors will participate in this meeting.
