ILLINOIS BETHLEHEM MANGER TABLEAU—This naavily scene attracted hundreds of viewers Saturday and Sunday night/at the Central Church of Christ. Members of the congregation enacted the roles of those about the Christ child and there were live sheep in the yen at right.. The tableau will be presented for the last time from 7 until 9 tonight. Last Call For Breakfast Host Don McNeill of ABC's Breakfast Club show is pictured in 1933 when he started with the show and in 1963 when he appeared on television. He wanted to know what, improvements she would like to see in • new stores. "I'll tell you," she replied. "I'd like one that played, say, 'Oh Marie' when I'm cooking spaghetti and 'When Irish Eyes Are Smiling' when it's stew and 'Home on the Range' for steak." NEWS BRIEF LONDON (AP) — Nicholas Bowe, 43, an Irish artist, was pul on probation for a year today after pleading guilty to trying t o steal a Rembrandt from Britain's National Gallery. The painting, known as "Lucia," was valued at $480,000. Bowe was caught trying to slip it out the gallery Sunday. ILLINOIS WEATHER hy THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Cloudy skies and occasional snow flurries prevailed throughout Illinois today with temperatures below freezing through most of the state. Light snow was reported this morning in Chicago, Kankakee, R'.ckford, Moline, Quincy, Vanda lia, Peoria and Springfield. FIVE KILLED—Five persons, including n family of four from .loplin, Mo., and their pilot Gary Louden. Carthage, Mo., were killed Saturday in the crash of a light plane nbout .12 miles north of Springfield, Mo. Volunteer fin-man Wayne Sharp, Fair Grove, Mo., tries to extinguish the flames from the wreckage. The crash occurred about 10 a.m. Saturday. Tentatively identified victims were members of the J. C. Vaughn family. NEWS BRIEF CATANZARO, Italy (AP) — Fifty-six Sicilian men accused of Mafia crimes were sentenced to prison lerms ranging up to 27 years Sunday night. Fifty-seven otliers were acquitted. The trial of the 113 men from Palermo began Oct. 23, 1967.
