Thursday, May 6, 1954 EL PASO HERALD-POST Intruder Worried About Indians Undresses A Ft. Bliss man, 23, was worried about Indians, and so he entered the house of a stranger and undressed. Eugene McCarty of 1131 East Wyoming street told police that the man entered his house through the unlocked front door. He walked immediately to the bathroom, sayto Mr. McCarty: "Be very quiet.

The Indians are going to get us." Mr. McCarty told police that the man went into the bathroom undressed. Mr. McCarty talked with the man and pursuaded him to put on his pants and leave the house. Police arrested the man a few minutes later.

Mr. McCarty declined to file a complaint against the man. Busy Bees By United Press CHICKASHA, May state highway, patrol got a sweet assignment today. A truck carrying 150 beehives was parked on U. S.

Rand Sr. of 3107 Louisville street, lifelong resident of El Paso, died today in a hospital. He was 50. He was the son of the late W. J.

Rand, early settler of El Paso. father was a paving contractor and president of the Bitulithic Co. Mr. Rand was a member of the Masonic Lodge 1111, and El Maida Shrine. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a past president of the National Office Managers Assn.

He was auditor and office for the McNutt Oil and Refining Co. for 15 years. He is survived by his widow, Frances; a son, Herbert N. of El Paso; a sister, A. E.

Phillips of Lyndon, two brothers, Bill Rand with the U. S. Air Force and Patrick Rand: and two grandchildren, Christy and Russell Rand of El Paso. Funeral arrangements are pending with the Harding and Orr Funeral Home. WALTER MILLER Walter Miller of 325 West Miser souri street died yesterday in a hospital, He was 69.

He was retired and came here four years ago from Ohio. He IS survived by a sister, Mrs. Essie Kieffer of Dayton, Ohio.
