ILLINOIS - Legal Notices - NOTICK OF SPECIAL SCHOOL ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN \ that on Saturday, the HUi day of January, 1969, election will be heJd at the polling places hereinafter mentioned in Tna Community Consolidated School District Number Eight, Jefferson County, Illinois, for the purpose of voting upon the following proposition: PROPOSITION Shall the Board of Education of Ina Community Consolidated School District Number Eight of Jefferson County. Illinois, be authorized to levy an annual tax in an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) per annum upon all taxable property in said School District as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue for the purpose of paying rentals fixed by the School Building Commission of the State of Illinois for the use and occupancy of a School Building owned by the State so long as such building shall continue to be leased by said School District from the State? For the purposes of this election, the following precincts and polling places are established: PRECINCT NO. 1: Shall consist of all of the territory of the District execpt that part of the District which was formerly Bonnie Community Consolidated School District No. 88, Jefferson County, Illinois. Polling Place: Ina Grade School Building, Ina, Illinois. PRECINCT NO. 2: Shall consist of all that part of the District which was formerly Bonnie Community Consolidated School District No. 88, Jefferson County, Illinois. Polling Place: Bonnie Grade School Building, Bonnie, Illinois. The polls will be opened at twelve o'clock Noon and closed at seven o'clock P.M. on said date. All legal voters residing in Ina Community Consolidated School District No. 8, Jefferson County, Illinois, shall be entitled to vote in said election. Pursuant to statutory requirement all persons desiring to vote shall sign an affidavit containing: (1) the name and address of the voter; (2) a statement that the voter resides in Ina Community Consolidated School District No. 8, Jefferson County, Illinois, and is registered to vote in general elections from a residence located in said School District; and (3) a statement that the person desiring to vote is a qualified voter.
