"The gathering of data on unmarked Revolutionary soldiers' graves (the last portion of the report), commands special attention as this is not Just a public service, but constitutes a continuing task entrusted to the DAR long ago. It is done specifically for the government, no federal bureau, department or other agency having this responsibility. (Wars, other than the American Revolution, are overed through government for service).

"This service alone Is justl flcation for the printing of the report. Compare the reported approximate $4300 publishing bill with the expense of setting up an office and staff to do this add a sizeable sum to cover the approved ahead? The answer would seem to be a matter of plain, simple arithmetic." 'Four times within eleven months," Mr. Duncan states, "this Individual has protested against an organization of which she apparently knows little. Following her Initial outburst last June, considerable informative material, including complimentary subscription to the DAR Magazine was provided her, along with a direct offer to answer any question. Nothing was forthcoming and now, she Is diverting the Senate from most serious deliberations, by asking time out to make a repetltoua Identical protest."
