So when she moved from Port Stephens, Australia, to Green Bay, she tried out for the Green Bay Chill and earned a spot on the roster as a wide receiver. Heasman and the Chill will play their final home game Saturday against the Chicago Bliss at 8 p.m. at the Resch Center. "It's been an amazing experience," Heasman said. "I've met an amazing group of girls and coaches and fans so it's really sort of broadened my horizons.

It's made the transition moving over here from Australia very smooth." The Chill has gone 1-2 this season and sits second in the Midwestern Division. The winner of Saturday's game grabs the Midwestern Division title and advances to the divisional playoff round Aug. 17 in Chicago. Head coach Gilbert Brown said Chicago has a few assets on its team. "They got a really good running back," Brown said.

"She's strong, powerful, she likes to drag people. The quarterback Heather Furr, they call her the rock star. She's an all-around player especially offensively, pretty good on defense as well. We got our work cut out for us, and Chicago is no slouch, I'll tell you that." The Bliss come to Green Bay with a 2-1 record. Running back Amber Mane, who joined the team last April, talked about what winning on Saturday would mean.

"I think it would just show all the hard work that we've all done," Mane said. "Me personally now that I've finally got my starting position, which took me a while to prove to the vets and coaches that I was here and that I was ready it would really show them all the hard work that me and all the rest of the girls have been doing." Heasman said overall her first season with the Chill has been a success. "I'm very happy with how it's been going," Heasman said, who has a background in track and rugby. "There's always stuff to learn. It's been a massive learning experience for me being new to the game.
