Chase county schools are to receive as their share of the semi-nnnunl distribution of funds from the state sales tax enacted by the last state legislature a total of 51,837,42. This WES received by the county treasurer, Tom Graham, from the state treasurer this week.

Next April, the schools of the county will receive a similar check representing tlie next semi-annual distribution. In her address she advocated International co-operation and stressed the fact that war debts had prevented this co-operation. The club presented Mrs. Mauck with a corsage bouquet.

Mrs. Waddell served lunch. At the next meeting, November 17, the club will take a "World Cruise" under the direction of Mrs. D. E.
