A new musical and an old Molnar success make up this week's brace of Broadway premieres. Chronologically: Wednesday evening, Molnar's "The Play's the Thing" will be revived at the Booth Theater, which became vacant a week ago when "The Rats of Norway" was exterminated after four performances in the wake of some of the most devastating reviews in a decade. Gilbert Miller, and in addition James Russo and Michael are the producers. Louis Calhern is starred, and Faye Emerson, wife of Elliott Roosevelt, is featured.

Oliver Messel did the sets, and Castillo is the designer. Friday evening, at the Century Theater, a large and expensive revue, "Inside U.SA," based more or less vaguely on John Gunner's best-selling book, will be presented with Beatrice Lillie and Jack Haley starred.
