24 (TP) Henry McDaniel, 80, one of turf-dom's great trainers, died early today in a hospital in near-by Coral Gables after a brief illness. McDaniel's most famous horse was Exterminator which he persuaded Willis Sharp Kilmer to buy as a "work horse" for Sun Brier on the eve of the Kentucky Derby in 1918.
