for 40 years. "Eddie" Evers for 63 years preceding his death in January, 2012. Marge was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and served on the Funeral Dinner committee for 11 years. She is famous for her deviled eggs, and claimed to have made over 10,000 of them during her tenure.

She was involved in many volunteerism efforts, and was a proud member of the Crashaw Literary Society, and worked at JC Penney's for 14 years. Maggie rode on the back of Eddie's Gold Wing motorcycle "to prove her love" for him; she was known for wearing curlers under her helmet. She was an avid reader, loved her crossword puzzles, and enjoyed her creative writing classes at Ball State University. She felt honored to be the "adopted grandmother" of the neighborhood children. Every stranger quickly be came a friend, and friends became family.

But above all, she loved her children and grandchildren.
