Brann 93, Louisville, KY, died Monday at Ashwood Place in Frankfort, KY. She was the former Blanche Meador, and a native of Barren County, KY. She was a former resident of Indianapolis having retired from the Eli Lilly Co. after 43 years of service, and a member of the Southport Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dulin "Joe" Brann.

Feb. 13. LaVonne P. Brown 95, Tellico Village Community, Loudon, TN, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at the Loudon Health Care Center. She was a member of Southport Baptist Church, a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She loved to sing in the church choir and with the Sermatones Group. She was preceded in death by husband, C.G. Bus Brown; son Paul Douglas Brown; parents Everett and Beulah Smith; brother Ray D. Smith. 11, 2003. Mrs. Clapp was born on March 7, 1909 in Indianapolis, to James Abram Garfield and Ethel Olivia (Kitson) Walker. She was an English teacher at Tech High School for many years, from which she was a graduate. Margaret was the widow of Leland Quayle Clapp and a member of Irvington United Methodist Church.

She was a graduate of Butler University and the Arthur Jordan Conservatory of Music. She directed choirs for many different age groups. Leland and Margaret celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 10, 1984. Survivors include her sons David Leland and Thomas Walker Clapp and five grandchildren. She was the sister of the late' Martha Louise (Walker) Lantz.

Mrs. Clapp was very active in a number of local organizations, most notably her church, where she directed choirs of all ages. She was also involved in the Irvington Garden Club, Travel Study Club, Tech Alumni Association and the Benton House Assn. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, at Shirley Brothers East Washington.

Services will be held at E. 91st Street Christian Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, with burial following at Washington Park East. Memorial contributions may be made to E. 91st Street Christian Church in her name.

Entombment: Crown Hill Cemetery. Millie L. Davidson Born Feb. 15, 1910, passed away Feb. 11, 2003 after a lingering battle with osteoporosis and heart disease.

Millie lived her last four years with her youngest daughter, Penny Pope and husband, Al (Gainesville, GA). Her surviving children were present at her passing: Lorna Dee Van Wagner T.R. Ellis and wife, Dee (Tucson, AZ), and Key Lane Ellis and wife, Brenda (Conyers, GA). Millie's oldest child, Carl Ellis, Jr. (Clermont, IN) died in 1989.

Millie was born in Crisman, IL and lived most of her childhood in Mississippi and Louisiana along with seven siblings, all of whom passed before her. She lived most of her adult life in Clermont (married to Carl Ellis) and Crawfordsville, IN (married to Ed Davidson). She left behind 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Millie is remembered by her family and friends as a woman who loved nothing more than family reunions, games, and helping those less fortunate than her. Her easy laughter, liveliness, and frank opinions will be sorely missed.

Junior K. Junior K. Jones 69, Greenfield formerly of Indianapolis, died Feb. 12, was born in Monticello, KY. on Nov.

10, 1933. Before retiring in 1992, after 27 years of service, Mr. Jones was an Independent truck driver for American Precast and prior to that, Ranger Transportation. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
