A 17 THE COURIER-JOURNAL, FRIDAY, MARCH 23, 1973 Deaths and funerals in the Louisville area Louisville man dies of injuries Kenneth Olson, 38, who was injured in a traffic accident on March 3, died at 9:35 a.m. yesterday in General Hospital. Olson, who lived at 1622 Story died of complications from fractures suffered when struck by an auto in the 3200 block of Frankfort Avenue, at 12:05 a.m., according to Deputy Coroner Barry Foreman. No charge was brought against the driver of the car, Robert D. Rupp, 18, of 8511 Cheltenham Circle.

The body was taken to the McCrackirt Funeral Home in Union, N.J. Mrs. Addison Barlow, 49, of 1711 Hale died at 10 a.m. Wednesday in General Hospital. Results of an autopsy have not been made known.

Mrs. Barlow was a native of Preston, and was the former Opal Lee Foreman. Survivors include her husband and her father, Odell Foreman. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Cable Street Baptist Church, 314 S.

Wenzel with burial at Eastern Cemetery. The body is at G. C. Williams Funeral Home, 1935 W. Broadway.

George H. Boren, 71, of 4611 Knopp died Wednesday after suffering a heart attack at his home. Barry Foreman, a deputy coroner, said Boren was pronounced dead at 9:50 p.m. when taken to General Hospital. Boren was a mechanic for 22 years for Schaaf Auto Electric until he retired in 1963.

He was native of Franklin, Ky. There are no immediate survivors. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bohlsen, Miller VonderHaar Funeral Home, 825 Barret with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after 10 a.m.

Friday. Mrs. Beatrice Brown, 74, of 3018 Wyandotte died at 2 p.m. Wednesday at General Hospital. She was a Norwood, native.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Florence Parker, Mrs. Colossia Bennett, the Misses Dolly, Lois M. and Dorothy J. Quinn; two sons, James and Leslie Quinn, 38 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 1212 S. 10th with burial in Eastern Cemetery. The body will be at G. C.

Williams Funeral Home, 1935 W. Broadway, after 6 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Henry Burger, 89, of 806 Glen-brook Road in Anchorage, died at 2:30 a.m.

Thursday in Suburban Hospital. She was the former Rose Hettinger. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Irvin A. Young, Mrs.

Joseph A. Ratter-man, and Misses Georgiaphine Evelyn and Virginia F. Burger; a son, William C. Burger, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m.

Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Cherrywood Road, with burial in Rest-haven Memorial Park. The family will be at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Henry Russell Bush, 68, of 235 W. Poplar Elizabethtown, died at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown. He was a native of Terre Haute, and a retired bus driver. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Do- and a brother, Frank Cunningham, of Opp, Ala. The funeral will be 1 p.m.

Saturday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 711 W. St. Catherine with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. The body will be at Wilson Garrett Funeral Home, 2611 Virginia after 6 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Stella F. Davis, 62, of The J. O. Blanton House, died at 11:37 a.m.

Thursday at Jewish Hospital. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ and the EpicuretteS Club. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Haun; two sons, Sgt. Terry Davis, stationed at Columbia, S.C., and James K.

Davis and five grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at A. D. Porter Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W.

Cheitnut with burial in Eastern Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after noon Friday. Mrs. David G. Donnelly, 23, died at 4:15 p.m.

Wednesday in St. Joseph Infirmary. She lived at 1087 E. Kentucky St. She is survived by her husband; a son, David G.

Donnelly a daughter, Lisa M. Donnelly; her mother, Mrs. William H. Thielemann, and her grandmother, Mrs. Edith Tomagni.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 6010 Preston Highway, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. The body will be at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison Avenues, after noon Friday. Charles N. Duttoa, 55, of 4619 Shasta Trail, died at 9:35 a.m.

Thursday at his home. He was a member of Cane Run General Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Lula Mae Miller; four daughters, Mrs. Claudetta Gwynn, Mrs. Sandra Chandler, Mrs.

Mary F. Stoudmire and Mrs. Te-reatha Petty; two sons, James H. and Ronald L. Dutton, and 14 grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at A. D. Porter Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut with burial in Eastern Cemetery.

The body will be at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday. William S. Franklin, 95, of Brownsboro Hills Nursing Home, died there at 8:40 a.m. Thursday.

He retired in 1943 as manager for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. Franklin was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and Jachin Masonic Lodge at Clay, Ky. He was a former member of Audubon Country Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Docia Goodwin; a daughter, Mrs. Spalding Abell, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pearson's, 149 Breckinridge Lane, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after noon Friday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Walnut Street Church building fund. Additional deaths on page 18 Accident victim's estate seeks $356,612 in suit The wife of a Pleasure Ridge Park man who died after an automobile accident filed suit in Jefferson Circuit Court Wednesday seeking $356,612.18 in damages for his death.

Delaine Yarbrough filed the lawsuit in behalf of the estate of her husband, William G. Yarbrough. The suit claims that John G. Phelps, 1915 Rockford Lane, negligently operated an auto in which her husband was a passenger, causing it to hit a utility pole near 2510 Grinstead Dr. last Nov.

26. Yarbrough died on Dec. 4. Mentioned in the suit as also surviving Yarbrough were his three children, William Shannon and Nickie, all of 4809 Greenwood Rd. The case was assigned to Judge Raymond Stephenson.

Services will be held Monday at Defiance, Ohio. Mrs. Richard L. Clark, 56, of 1636 Sale died at 1 a.m. Thursday at Kentucky Baptist Hospital.

She was the former Laura Jane Tom-linson. Survivors include her husband. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3509 Taylor with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Arch L.

Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor after 11 a.m. Friday. U.S. Army Sgt. 1.

C. Weaver A. Coleman, 53, of 4645-B Prichard Place, Fort Knox, died Thursday morning at Ireland Army Hospital, Fort Knox. Hospital authorities said the death apparently resulted from a heart attack. Sgt.

Coleman's wife, Mrs. Thelma Louise Coleman, died Thursday, March 15, at Ireland Army Hospital. Mrs. Coleman, 54, was buried Wednesday at the Fort Knox Post Cemetery. Sgt.

Weaver and his wife are survived by two daughters, Mrs. Weavette F. Hol-man, of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Mrs. Kimmie S. Billingsley, of Jasper, and a son, Robert A.

Coleman, of Daytona Beach, Fla. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Fort Knox Post Cemetery. Mrs. Lee Conner, 84, of 922 S.

Clay died at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Infirmary. She was the former Willie F. Riddles, a native of Daviess County, Ky.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Henry, of Owens-boro, and Mrs. Bernice Drake; a son, James W. Thompson; 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m.

Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1057 S. 28th where she served as a member of the Deacons and Trustees Wives Auxiliary and as chaplain of the Sisterhood of the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The body is at A. D.

Porter Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St. Matthew Cunningham, 83, of 1607 Du-mesnil died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday at Veterans Hospital. He was a native of Cullenberg, and was formerly employed by American-Standard.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Narrah Ford, of Birmingham, Mrs. Menirva Willis and Mrs. Louise Emery, Man heaten, found dead; another is fatally shot Derail sip KM aw A 61-year-old man, apparently the victim of a beating, was found dead in a vacant building in Louisville yesterday, and, in a separate incident, a 25-year-old man died after having been shot twice in the head. Police identified the victims as Tilford Royse, 61, whose last known address was 125 E.

Eighth Jeffersonville, and Eric L. Guin, 25, of 104 N. 38th Louisville. The body of Royse was found by a man rummaging through a building at 725 S. 2nd St.

yesterday at about 1:30 p.m., police reported. The structure, which had housed the Young Men's Hebrew Association several years ago, is being torn down. Police said Royse was found lying on a mattress among debris on a part of the second floor that is still intact. Deputy Coroner Lloyd Roemele said Royse had been beaten on the head and died about 24 hours before his body was found. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death, Roemele said.

In the other incident, Guin died at about 4:30 p.m. yesterday at General Hospital after his wife, Patricia, found him wounded in his bed at about 1:30 p.m. Deputy Coroner Roemele said Guin had been shot twice in the back of the head. According to police, Guin's wife said she left the door to her home unlocked when she left at about 10:30 a.m. Mrs.

Guin said she returned at about 1:30 p.m. and when she tried to awaken her husband so he could go to work at the Ford truck assembly plant on Chamberlain Lane she saw he had been wounded. Police said that Guin was wearing pajamas when his wife found him, that apparently nothing was missing from the home and that no weapon had been found.
