Expressions of sympathy may take the form of gifts to the Concordia Church Endowment Fund. Robert E. Shouse, 79, of Finchville, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday at his home. He was a native of Bath County, and a member of the Simpsonville United Methodist Church and the Shelby County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife, the former Lottie Washburn; two daughters, Mrs. John Bailey of Finchville and Mrs. Frances Mclntyre; two sons, Charles Shouse, Mt. Sterling, and Sherman Shouse; 10 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday at Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville, with burial in Grove Hill Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Julius Henry Smith 59, of 716 S. Hancock, died at 10 a.m.

Sunday at General Hospital. He was an employe at Churchill Downs Race Track. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Annabell Stringer and Mrs. Norma Taylor; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

His wife survives. mm I uULnjuLla Mrs. John Walker Moore widow of the former de-an of the University of Louisville Medical School (1929-49) and a past president of the Woman's Club of Louisville, died at 6 a.m. yesterday at Brownsoro Hills Nursing She had lived there for the past five years. Mrs.

Moore, 82, was a former member of the Junior League and a 1910 graduate i of Wellesley College. She was the former Anna Kent and a member of St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church. Survivors include two sons, William K. Moore of Atlanta, and John W.

Moore a daughter, Mrs. Harry A. Strater a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Hay- dock of Philadelphia, and a brother, George R. Kent of Beverly Hills, Calif.

Private graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. today at Cave Hill Cemetery. Moses Evan Tharp, 72, of 4340 S.

Police said the motorcycle, being driven by Vearn Caudell, 35, of the 4100 block of Virginia was headed north on Newburg when it and a car driven by William F. Hertz 24, of Boynton Beach, collided. Police said the cycle skidded about 105 feet on its side before stopping.

Caudell, who was treated at St. Joseph Infirmary for lacerations and released, was later charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Police said the small car's, occupants weren't injured.
