Fine, 77, Indianapolis, a retired Ben Davis High School athletic director, will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 in Stevens Mortuary Chapel of the Flowers, with calling from 3 p.m.

Mr. Fine was athletic director at Ben Davis 23 years, retiring in 1984. Previously, he coached basketball at Ben Davis from 1956 to 1961. In 1980, he received the distinguished service award from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. He was a member of the Butler B-Men Association, a member and former treasurer of the Indiana High School Athletic Directors Association and past president of the Legore Boys Club of Indianapolis.

He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Butler University. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ruth Lilly Hospice, in care of Methodist Hospital.
