But at the age of 15 he ran away to enlist in the Navy. He told a whopping big lie about his age. So they chucked him into the brig and kept him there until his father came and took him home.

Hollywood, May 30 (U.R) Two small boys, too young yet to realize the almost incredibly good fortune which has been their's, months ago to dramatize the establishment of Boys Town, with Spencer Tracy taking the part of Father Flanagan, Mickey Rooney playing one of the boys, and, Judy Garland, the girl with whom he eventually falls in love.
