Van Hoose said the two County high schools farthest from the tower at the Louisville Free Public Library Eastern and Valley reported good reception yesterday, as did the schools across the river. WAVE Originated Program, Provided Studio The test program originated at WAVE, which is furnishing a studio and other facilities for Channel 15. During the program, Van Hoose announced that the achievement of pupils taught by closed-circuit television in three elementary schools last year compared favorably with that of pupils in regular classes. He said a report showing the favorable comparison would be made public soon, but was being held up at the request of the Fund for The Advancement of Education. Later, he explained that the Tund wishes to summarize such comparisons in all cities experimenting with educational TV before announcing the results.
