She was a longtime member of Seventh Day Christian Fellowship, formerly know as Seventh day Oak Grove Community Church. She was retired from Bynum Anniston Army Depot. She was an avid gardener, and loved to share with everyone. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Tallent; parents Bamey and Edna Rose, five sisters, and one brother.

She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie (Jerry' Thornton and Patty Prickett; grandchildren, Bryon (Betty) Thornton, Timothv Thornton, Kendall (Brian) Howell, Lance (Michelle) Prickett, and Melissa Thornton; great-grandchildren, Havden Howell, Meredith Howell, Seth Thornton, Sam Palmer, Avery Prickett, and Alana Prickett; sister, Joann Stone. Pallbearers will be family and'friends. Special thanks to Beacon Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Catherine M. Watson, 89, of Anniston, will be Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Forestlawn Gardens with Father Bryan Lowe officiating. Mrs. Watson passed away February 5, 2013 at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mrs. Watson was born in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, New York. She became a Celtic Dancer and performed at several venues in New York City. Mrs. Watson met the love of her life, Joseph Clyde Watson, in New York City while he was stationed there during World War II.

After the war, Catherine and Clyde married and moved to Alabama- near Clyde's family. Mrs. Watson wore many hats during her lifetime. She worked as a secretary at Fort McClel-lan for" many years, was an switchboard operator, and finally retired as secretary from Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mrs.

Watson was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, was a devoted wife, and a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Watson is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Clyde Watson; and her grandson, LCpl Cody Watson. Survivors include a daughter, Janice Gail Watson; son, Dennis Bryan Watson and his wife, Susan; granddaughter, Lacey Watson Smith and her husband, Jarrod; and great-granddaughter, Aubree Elizabeth Smith. Burnett died February 3, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Atkins and his wife, Paulette, of Jamaica, N.Y., Fernandices Parker, of Sacramento, Thomas L. Parker Jr.

and his wife, Betty, of Jacksonville and Victor D. Parker and his wife. Corvette, of Anniston; one sister, Barbara A. Lo-max, of San Francisco, one brother, Thomas Lomax and his wife, Kim, of San Francisco, seven grandchildren, Sabrina, Billy, Carmen, Kenneth. Aresha, Sylvan and Bernard, seven greatgrandchildren; three and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be members of the family. Mrs. Parker attended Murray's Temple in Anniston and was dedicated to working in her church and serving her lord. Wright, of Washington, D.C. and several friends in Gadsden; her cousins, Martha Dews and Belinda Smith from Tennessee, who visited Sudie on February 1, 2013.

Sudie was an inspiration to all who knew her. Thanks to all of the staff at the Golden Living Health Care Center for the special care that was given to her. Howell, 93, of Anniston, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, from the First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Cedric J. Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Hills Cemetery.

Visitation will commence today from noon until 7 p.m. Mr. Howell's remains will be at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Howell died January 31, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia.

He leaves to celebrate his life four children, Marjorie N. Howell Davis, Gonnie D. (Janice) Howell, Sherry D. Howell, and Jarvis G. (Ora) Howell and one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Howell, along with 12 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death bv a grandson, Chase Harris and a brother, J.C. Bradley.

Mr. Bradley was a retired Staff Sargent from the U.S. Army with 24 years of service. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Mr. Bradley was also known by many as the preaching truck driver. Mrs. Bradley was a member of the former Blue Springs Baptist Church. Mr.

Darryl (Rose) Wood, of Sylacauga, Rev. Kiki L. terry, of Montgomery, Bettina (Bruce) Dewalt, of Pratt-ville; ten great-grandchildren ana one great-great-grandson; other relatives and friends.
