Obituaries Mrs. Martha Hawkins CHIPPEWA FALLS Mrs. Martha M. Hawkins, 92, formerly of the Town of Wheaton, died Sunday morning at the Rutledge Home for the Aged. She was born Jan.

8, 1877, in the Town of Wheaton, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart. She was married to George Hawkins in the Town of Wheaton June 26, 1901, and farmed there until moving to the Rutledge Home in 1949. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ray Wall of River Falls; three sons, Everett, Chippewa Falls, Carl, Hammond, Richard, Morton Grove, eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hogseth Pederson Funeral Chapel with Rev. John F.

Wreford of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hog- Chapel seth-Pederson Funeral from today at 2 p. m. until funeral time.

Walter Burke, Jr. BLACK RIVER FALLS (Special) Funeral services for Walter Burke, 21, Rt. 3, Black River Falls, will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Orfordville Lutheran Church, Orfordville. He died Sunday night in a two- car crash on Hy. 27 north of Sparta in Monroe County.

The Newcomer Funeral Home, Orfordville, is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery. He is survived by his a rents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burke, Rt.

Schmittfranz MONDOVI Mrs. James Schmittfranz, 46, died Sunday morning at Buffalo Memorial Hospital. She was born Alice Kerns April 10, 1923, and was married to James Schmittfranz, June 27, 1948. She attended schools in Davenport, Iowa, and was employed as a bookkeeper in Davenport, St. Louis and Mondovi.

She moved to Mondovi in January, 1951, where her husband has been a practicing chiropractor since. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, had been in charge of the Buffalo County Ibloodmoibile for many years, an dwas secretary of the Buffalo County Fair Board for many years. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, James at home, one brother, Frank Kerns, Can Kakee, two sisters, Mrs. Mike Carmichael, and Mrs. Betty Danico, both of Davenport, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Church, Mondovi, with the Rev. Ruwal Freese officiating. Burial will be at the East Thorp Cemetery at 3 p.m. Friends may call at the Kjentvet and Son Funeral Home after 4 p.m.

today and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Robert Behling NEILLSVILLE (Special) Robert W. Behling, 52, former area radio station employe, died Wednesday in Lincoln, Nebr. Funeral and burial services were held Saturday in Fremont, Nebr.

Mr. Behling was manager of WDLB Radio in Marshfield until 1956, when the station was sold. He was associated with WCCN Radio in Neillsville i 1964 and early 1965. Mr. Behling had purchased the Sherman County Times Newspaper in Loup City, in June and was admitted to the hospital for treatment cancer two weeks later.

He is survived by his i Thea; a son, Roger, Fremont, two daughters, Mrs. Roy Mohr, Lincoln, Mrs. Derrold McCardle, Omaha, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Stiehm, Fort Atkinson, Miss Myrtle Behling, Milwaukee; and eight grandchildren. Leon M.

Jaeger ELK MOUND (Special) M. Jaeger 55, of Elk Mound, was pronounced dead on arrival Saturday" afternoon at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. Mr. Jaeger was accidentally buried when a trench he was digging in his yard caved in on him. Funeral services will be 10 a.m.

Joseph's Hospital Sunday morning. Mr. Friedel was born Jan. 15, 1881, in the Town of Washington, Eau Claire County. He grew up in the Town of Washington and was married to Lillie Schlewitz on Nov.

24, 1910, at Eau Claire. Following their marriage they farmed in the Town of Washington until 1939 when they moved to a farm in the Cadott-Boyd area. He retired in 1951 and they moved to the Village of Cadott, where they had since resided. He is survived by his wife, Lillie; one son, Henry rural Boyd; two daughters Mrs. Carl Abraham of Eau Claire, and Mrs.

Louis LeQue of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Mrs. Theresa Winnie of Eau Claire; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Edwin Becker offici- eating.

Mrs. Christopherson had been employed as a legal secretarj and a secretary for social ser vices and for the past 15 year has been credit manager for th Consumer Co-op Shopping Cen ter here. She was a membe of Trinity Lutheran Church an the Order of the Eastern Sta Chapter 126.

She was a mem ber and past president of th Toastmistresses and of the Do ley Madison Bowling team fo the past five years. Services will fee today at p.m. at Trinity Luthera Church, the Rev. J. L.

24 in a dredge accident in Lake Superior harbor. He had been employed by the Army Corps of Engineers in Duluth for about a month before the accident. He is survived by a brother, Edward, Stockholm; and three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Peters, Mrs. Lloyd Edlin, both of Stockholm, and Mrs.

Blenda Nichols, Pepin. He was born July 24, 1912, in Pepin Township and had lived in the Stockholm area. He farmed for about 30 years, worked on road construction for seven years and was employed by Northern Wisconsin Manufacturing Pepin, for seven years.
