Galena Daily Tribune Quito. The of the Galena Dally Tribune was discontinued with the Saturday Issue owing to the venture not having been a paying one. The at Galena is said to be a limited one and Editor Callahan has found it uphill work to secure a foothold. 1'he Tribune wac a newsy paper and was welcomed by the exchange editors of neighboring towns. The semi-weekly Tribune is also discontinued and a weekly publication will take the place of the daily and semi-weekly.

Entertained Friends. Miss Elsie Reese entertained a number of her Freeport friends at her home in Lena Monday evening. Bigs conveying about a dozen Freeport young people drove to the Beeser home where a fine supper had been prepared for them. After supper games and music were indulged In until a later hour.
