Time Finance Loses Suit For $13,544 A $13,544 judgment was awarded a Detroit advertising agency in Circuit Court suit against Time Finance Company here yesterday. Irving C.

Beckman and Alex M. Beerbohm filed suit in 1951, claiming they had not been paid for handling a direct-mail advertising campaign for the finance company. Their attorney, E. K. Lawrence, said they arranged for about 2,000,000 pieces of printed matter to be distributed by 45 offices of the finance firm, which has headquarters here.

The finance company claimed shipments of the material were delayed and the material itself was unsatisfactory. The company's attorney, Thomas S. Dawson, said he will appeal the judgment signed by Judge Stephen S. Jones on recommendation of Deputy Commissioner Jack Mudd. Mudd held lengthy hearings on the suit.

THANKSGIVING DINNER on foot, a 43-pound turkey, is presented to the laughing President Eisenhower by Perry Browning, right, Winchester, Ky, as head of the National Turkey Federation. Kentuckian Gives Ike A 43-Pound Turkey Washington, Nov. 16 TAP) President Eisenhower today received a handsome 43-pound Kentucky gobbler for his Thanksgiving dinner and said he would like to be a turkey farmer himself soon. The big heavy breasted bronze turkey, pride of a flock of birds, was presented' by Perry Browning, president of the National Turkey Federation. He raised it on his farm near Winchester, Ky.

The gobbler's name of course is Kentucky Colonel. During the presentation in the White House Rose Garden, Eisenhower munched heartily on pretzels and after repeated failures finally induced Kentucky Colonel to peck at some cranberries in his hand. Give President A Book, 'Turkey Management' The President told Browning that when his farmhouse near Gettysburg, is completed, he hopes to raise a big torn turkey like Kentucky Colonel. Officials of the turkey federation and the Poultry and Egg National Board the organizations which traditionally provide the President's Thanksgiving turkey promptly produced a thick book, "Turkey Management," and gave it to Eisenhower. "That's wonderful," the President laughed.

Representatives of the National Pretzel Bakers Institute accompanied the turkey growers and presented Eisenhower with a 154-year-cld Pennsylvania Dutch military-dress hatbox full of pretzels. And Alex V. Tisdale, executive secretary of the institute, handed over a recipe for turkey stuffing to be made from the pretzels.
