Lee O. Yarbrough, 2 p.m., Wise's Chapel, Heflin in Kentucky. He also held the honor of being elected as Ohatchee's first mayor in 1956. Mr. Boozer was a longtime member, Sunday School teacher, and treasurer of the First Baptist Church of Williams.

He was a member of numerous civic and educational organizations. Mr. Boozer had a passion for his family and for gardening. Survivors include her husband, Jessie E. Harris, of. Heflin; sons, Edward "Buddy" Harris, of Anniston, Randy Harris, Roger Harris, and Dean Harris, all of Heflin, Michael HarHis, of Ranburne, and Mark Harris, of Anniston; sister, Nettie Deemar, and Jeannie Hanson, both of Anniston; brothers, Clifford Young, of Wellborn, and A.V. Young, of Hollis Cross. Roads; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Hayes passed away Tuesday at his residence. Survivors include his loving wife, Shelia Diane Clayton Hayes; parents, General and Minnie Jo Hayes; three sisters Nita Poe, of Southside, Jan Cotton, of Ohatchee, and Lisa Thompson, of Saks; one brother, Tommy Hayes, of ciating. Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her son, Klint Nelson; her. mother, Edna Free Bridges; her father, Billy Free and her father-in-law, Paul Wells. The family will serve as pallbearers. Dink was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, best friend and daughterin-law.

Admired for her talents and strengths, she was depended on for her advice, common-sense and friendship. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. at Union Methodist Cemetery in Wellington with Terry Hill officiating. Miss Phillips passed away April 4, 2008 at Gadsden Health and Rehab. She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Juanita Phillips. Miss Phillips is survived by her. Uncle Donald T.

Hill and wife, Phyllis; her aunt, Evelyn Hill Travis; and several cousins. Miss Phillips was born in Anniston but lived most of her life, in Birmingham. She had recently moved to Alexandria. She attended Anniston City Schools, The Davis Center and BPS Learning Center. Her loves were family, Alabama foot- a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Birmingham.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary Elizabeth Payne Pike; one son, Danny Pike (Linda), of Huntsville, two grandsons, Shane Pike. (Jennie) of Atlanta, Ga and Jason Pike, of Birmingham; two greatgrandchildren, Harrison Pike and Mary Elizabeth Pike, both of Atlanta; three brothers, Bobby Pike (Willa Dean), of Eastaboga, James Pike (Betty) Seattle, Wash. and Wayne Pike (Judy), of Pell City; two sisters, Iva Bryant, of Mobile and Helen Dulaney (C.J.), of Pell City; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Danny Stone, Frank T. Stewart, Ray Glover, Bobby Glover, Ken Grissom and Keith Word.

Honorary Pallbearers will. be the Frank. Wofford Sunday School Class. A native of Calhoun County, Mr. Pike was born October 31, 1921 the son of the late Wesley Daley Pike and Ruth Bell Williams.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Piedmont. His most notable. accomplishment was as director of the Piedmont Recreation Center which was later re-named and dedicated in his honor. "Clyde" raised several generations of Piedmont's youth at the Civic Center and he will be sorely missed.

Charles. Napoleon Boozer, 91, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Williams with the Reverends Mike Oliver and Bob McLeod officiating and K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center directing. Burial will be in the Williams Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Mr. Boozer died on April 8, 2008 at his home.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Hazel Knighten Boozer; daughter, Jane Boozer. Williams and her husband, Don, of Birmingham; son, Phil Boozer and his wife, Michele, of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Staci (Matt) Fifolt, of Leeds, Josh (Elizabeth) Williams, of Birmingham, Chad Williams and Grant Williams, of Birmingham, Magan (Jeff) Ellard, of Mandeville, Louisiana, and Blake Boozer and Emi Boozer, of Jacksonville; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Walker, and Eli Williams and Braden Boozer; sister, Judy (Jim). Douthit, of Jacksonville; sister-in-law, Marge Boozer, of Fort Myers, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Talmadge, and Bert Green Boozer; sister, Johnnie B. (Duard) Green; brothers, William Boozer, Ellis (Katie) Boozer, and Reuben (Evelyn) Boozer.

A special note of gratitude is extended to Pat Talley, a very caring friend and caretaker. Pallbearers will be Josh Williams, Grant Williams, Chad Williams, Blake Boozer, Jeff Ellard, and Matt Fifolt. Mr. Boozer received his B.S. degree from Jacksonville State Teachers' College, his master's degree from Auburn University, and completed his doctoral studies at Peabody College (Vanderbilt).

He served in the U.S. Army (Seventh Army) during World War II in the European and African theaters. Mr. Boozer served as Superintendent of Calhoun County School System for fourteen years (1963-1977). He had also served as principal of Roy Webb Jr.

High School, Ohatchee High School, and Childersburg High School. Additionally, he served as principal at Madisonville High School Anniston Funeral services for Mr. Richard E. Kirklin, 70, will be announced by Goodson Funeral. Home.

Mitchell, 80, passed away at his residence on April 8, 2008. Mr. Mitchell was born. on August 10, 1927, son of the late Straudy and Fair Gilmer Mitchell, of Spring Garden; one brother; a. sister; one son, Gary Mitchell; and one stepson, Larry Parnell who preceded him in death.
