The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2008, from 10-11 a.m. at Golden Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Borrell passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Sewell Borrell, of Anniston; daughter, Karen Witthauer and husband, Mark, of Franklin, sons, Joe Borrell and wife Vicki, of Jacksonville and Kenny Borrell and wife Sharon, of Birmingham, grandchildren; Gregory Witthauer, Buck Sewell, Brandon Sewell, Tabatha, Stacie and Tracie; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Patty Borrell; step-son, Henry (Hank) Sewell. Mr. Borrell retired from the City of Anniston Police Department (1951-1976). Previous employee with ADS in Birmingham as a Security Consultant and Owner-Operator of Central Alarm Co. (1977-1979).

Born in 1912, Mrs. Marsh was married to Ward Marsh for 65 years. She is survived by their only daughter, Doris Jean Marsh Dishner. She passed away at Jean's house in Springfield, VA, where she has been living for the past five years.

She was employed at the Anniston Army Depot for 35 years in telecommunications and was a member of the Business Women's Club. Carrie was born in Anniston and was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her three, grandsons whom she loved dearly, Jess Dishner and wife Kathee, Mike Dishner and John Verstraete-Disher and wife Nicky. as she was called, was proud of her five great-grandchildren, Brandee Dishner, Brittney Dishner, Aaron Dishner, Shannon Dishner, and Carrie Dishner. She is loved dearly and will be missed by her friends and family that she blessed for 95 years.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Parker Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Fireside Room at the church. Mr. Murray passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Roanoke. Mr. Murray was a native of Calhoun County and was a resident of Randolph County since 1964. He was a veteran of the U.S.

Army having served in World War Il. He was a partner in a Boiler Maker Shop in An- niston for many years. Preceded in death by his parents, Morris Alfred and Gracie Hellen Bryant Murray; a sister, Gladys Garmany; two brothers, Wallace and Jerome Murray; and two grandchildren, Wayne and Jerry Nelson. Pallbearers will be Carl Murray, Clark Murray, Jody Nelson, Nathan Zaner, Henry Mosley and Kevin Samples. Mr. Porter died on March 25, 2008 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Survivors include, three children, Carol R. Burrell, Anita (Myrone) Houston, both of Hobson City; and William R. of Anniston; three sisters, Cle- mentine Porter, Lucille (Harold) Gilbert and Nellie Mae (Bennie) Fears, all of Anniston; three brothers, Lewis (Oliver) Porter, of Anniston, Robert Porter, of California, and Charles Porter, of Milwaukee; brother-in-law, Sammie of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Dione R.

Porter, of Hoover, Eriq L. Burrell and Randall D. Porter (Peanut), both of Hobson City; Madison O. Chatman, of Georgia, Kambria S. Hutchinson (Boobie), of Hobson City; and great-grandchild, Tahli I.

Mrs. Haynes passed away March 26, 2008 at Shands at UF Hospital after a brief illness. Survivors include her son, Kenneth W. Haynes and wife, Joyce of Savannah, Ga; a daughter, Zoe Haynes Seale and husband Jim of Gainesville, Fla; grandchildren, Bradley W. Haynes of Dallas, Texas, Matthew M.

Haynes of Tampa, Fla, Carrie Brianna Walker and Ian J. Seale of Gainesville, Fla; two greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bradley Haynes, Matthew Haynes, John Cruise, David Cruise, Randy Spencer, and Ron Reaves. Box 1789, Anniston, AL 36202, or Ohatchee United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 151, Ohatchee, AL 36271. Mrs. Carrie Haynes was born in Ohatchee, on February 23, 1918. She was the daughter of the late William Henry Patterson and Daisy Berthu Martin Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ora Weldon Haynes. Carrie Lee was a member of Anniston's 1st United Methodist Church and the Neysa Coker Sunday School Class and a retired executive secretary at. 'Ft. McClellan. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed traveling, quilting, and University of Alabama football.

Johnson died on March 22, 2008 in Atlanta, Ga. Survivors include, his parents, Laura L. Clemons, of Birmingham, and David A. (Connie) Johnson, of Anniston; one sister, LaKayla D. Johnson, of Montgomery; six brothers, Timothy Spratling, of Anniston, Martavius Spratling, of Hawaii, Jay Price, of Atlanta, Dominic Williamson (Kellise), Dwight Williamson and Darius Lester, all of Baltimore, MD; grandparents, John A.

Johnson (Lenora), of Anniston; Velma Clemons, of Tuscaloosa; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was member of Saks Baptist Church and also a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oxford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Havell Sims; parents, Robert and Maybelle Cheatwood; brothers, Odell Cheatwood, Lynville Cheatwood, Cecil Cheatwood and Leroy Cheatwood.
