State Tuberculosis Hosannual report for fiscal year 1961-62 growing outpatient clinic program as "most significant recent accomplishment." The 30-page report was presented to Governor Bert Combs Thursday. It says 24 new clinics have been set up, raising the total to 29. More Added Thomas M. Layton, the commission's executive director, said, however, five new the report was compiled. In addition, five other clinics have tentative opening dates and eight more are planned.

Clinics are held in County health departments that are not near any of the six district tuberculosis hospitals. Clinics make follow-up examinations of persons who have been discharged from hospitals and issues drugs to indigent persons. The report said increased State appropriations it possible for the commission to increase the number of fulltime physicians in the State tuberculosis hospitals from 18 to 25. Gene Stees testified that he killed his estranged wife, Helen, 30, when she told him that if he could not accept her unborn child as his own he would never see her and his two children again.
