Cooke, 54, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Hospital.

He was a native of Cumberland Gap, and lived at 120 Fairmeade Road. He was the owner of Cooke Electric and was a member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, the former Mary Evans; two daughters, Mrs. L. M.

Mays, Oceanside, Miss L. Susan Cooke; a son R. Donald Cooke, and a grandchild. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pearson's 149 Breckinridge Lane.

Burial will be in Harrogate, at 2 p.m. Sunday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Heart Fund. Estel Bard, 62, of 4707 Indian Trail. died Tuesday at Jewish Hospital.

A native of Greenville, he was employed by the Louisville Gas Electric Co. 35 years. Survivors include his widow, the former Willie Mae Titus, and five stepchildren. The body is at G. C.

Williams Funeral Home, 1935 W. Broadway. After Friday it will be at the Church of God, 1114 S. 15th. where services will be at 11 a.m.

Saturday. Burial will be in the Community Cemetery at Newburgh. Mrs. John E. Sloan, the former Mary Frances Hughes, died at 9:15 p.m.

Wednesday at St. Joseph Infirmary. Mrs. Sloan, 54, lived at 1729 W. Hill.

She had been in ill health for several months. She was a native of Clarksville, and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Surviving besides the husband are two sons, John Edward and Thomas Lee Sloan; one daughter, Mrs. Mark Pharish and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m.

Saturday at the Owen Suburban Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Bunk Harper, 63, of 3617 Woodruff, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at St.

Joseph Infirmary. She was the former Bessie Flo Morton. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth B. Finley, Tampa, and one grandchild.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Heady's Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Charles Waverly Hesson, 63, a retired paperhanger, died at 12:15 a.m. Thursday. at his home, 2043 was a native of Leitchfield, Ky.

He is survived by his widow, the former Eva Mitchell; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Stewart, Laconia, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Arch L. Heady Son Funeral Home, 1201 E.

Oak. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Mrs. John R. Kuchenbrod the former Vivian Merideth, died Thursdays morning at 2:55 at Hospital.

She was 69. A native of Leitchfield, she lived at 4028 River Park Drive. She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Helen Karlen, Mrs.

Dorothy Lamb, Mrs. Virginia Alvey, and June Herms; four sons, Raymond, of Los Angeles; John R. Carol, and William; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The body is at the Owen Funeral Home, 2611 Virginia. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m.

at Baptist Tabernacle, with burial in Evergreen Mrs. William D. Sevmour, 30, died at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday at Methodist Evangelical Hospital. Her home was at 4118 Angel Terrace.

A spokesman for the family said death resulted from complications following surgery. She was the former Joyce Ann Whitlock. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Sharon Kay, Terry Lynn and Deborah Ann Seymour, a son, William Seymour and her Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Whitlock of Georgetown, Ind.

Services will ba at 2 m. Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road, with burial at George. town, Ind. Frank Keown, 70, a retired employe of Mengel Wood Industries died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday at the home of a daughter.

He lived at 3900 S. Fifth and was a member of the Rockford Lane Baptist Church. Survivors are his widow, the former Mildred Miller: three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Dixon, Mrs. Pauline Harris, and Mrs.

Donward Davison; and 12 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Nunnelley Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. James L.

Riley, a retired car repairman for the Louisville Nashville Railroad, died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday at his home, 1583 Squires Drive. He was 82. Riley was a native of Wayne County, Kentucky. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs.

Ora Hatcher, Cave City, Mrs. Stucker, Mrs. Gladys Schulte, and Mrs. Marie Hagan; two sons, Lawrence Riley, Xenia, Ohio, and Charles Riley; three stepdaughters, Martha Spencer, Mrs. Margaret Welch, and Mrs.

Lucy Pedigo; three stepsons, Richard and Guy Compton, and Charlie Bradley; 37 grandchildren, and 46 greatgrandchildren. Funeral The body will be at Neurath Home, 725 E. Market, until noon Saturday when it will be taken to Summer Shade, Baptist Church for services at 1 p.m. (CST). Burial will be in Summer Shade Cemetery.

Louis Burke, 64, died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday at his home, 1855 Farnsley Road. He operated Burke's Grocery in Buechel until he retired in 1955. He was a native of New Albany. Survivors include his widow, the former Bargia Wimsett; a daughter, Mrs.

George E. Moore; five sons, James Gerald. Patrick, Charles and Louis Burke and nine grandchildren. The body will at W. G.

Hardy Shively Chapel, 4101 Dixie Highway, after 6 p.m. Friday. Joseph A. Sager, 69, died Wednesday morning at his home, 235 S. Second.

He was a veteran of World War I and was a retired barge helper. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Frances Britton, and the Misses Bertha and Mary Sager, and two brothers, Charles and Martin Sager. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Cemeterurial will be in Eastern Mrs.

Edward R. Rothweiler 85, of 2332 W. Oak, died at 1 a.m. Thursday at Methodist Evangelical Hospital. She was the former Clara Bauer, native of Louisville, was a charter member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church.

Her husband died in 1941. She leaves a son, J. Harvison Rothweiler, and a grandson. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Owen Funeral Home, 2611 Virginia, with burial in Cave Hill Ceme- Cemetery.

James Henry Diebold, 71, a structural steel worker, retired, 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Veterans Hospital. He was a veteran of World War I and lived at 4630 Dohn Road. Survivors are his wife, the to former Gertrude E. Robbert; two daughters, Mrs.

Dorothy Evans; a Bowling and Mrs. Dolly two sons, James A. and Doug. las A. Diebold: 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Patterson 76, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday at Fioyd County Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Ind. He lived at 1916 E. Elm in New Albany and was a retired Southern Railway conductor with 48 years' service.

Survivors include his widow, the former Bessie Kellems; sons, John R. Patterson. two, Albany, and Gerrold Patterson; a daughter, Mrs. Fred R. Hutcheson, Bowling Green, Ohio, and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dieckmann Funeral Home, New Albany. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. Miss Anna L. Anderson, 91, died at 7:30 a.m.

Wednesday at Hannibal, Mo. She was a former resident of Louisville, and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Olaf and Anna Erickson. The funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Saturday at Pearson's, 149 Breckinridge Lane. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery. Joseph F. Etterer, 72, died at. 7:30 p.m.
