18 Mnscatine, Journal Awards Presented Cub Scouts.at Lone Tree-Meet Lone Tree The Cub Scout Pack meeting was held at the Legion Home, Monday evening. Den One gave the opening ceremony. New Cub Scouts were honored by Den Two giving a skit, "Pet Parade." Den Three gave a skit "Doggy Story." Awards were presented, some of which were earned last spring Sept. 30,1959 but no meetings were held during the summer so they were presented at this September meeting. Awards' went to Steve Jansen, Wolf; Charles Hawthorne, one year pin; Bill -Carpenter, two year pin; John Brinkmeyer; Silver Arrow for Bear; Lyle Riggan, Bear; and the wards for'the September, meeting, Jimmy Stahle, Wolf; Coyt Sexton, Silver Arrow for Wolf; Charles Hawthorne, Gold Arrow for Wolf; and Roger Slaughter, Silver Arrow for Wolf.
