FROM STAFF REPORTS Greenwood woman hurt in head-on crash dies FRANKLIN A Greenwood woman died Tuesday of Injuries caused by a head-on crash near Franklin High School. Barbara Garrett, 57, was pronounced dead at 1:42 a.m. In Methodist Hospital In Indianapolis.

Garrett was driving north In a Chevrolet van on U.S. 31 shortly after 1:30 p.m. Monday when an oncoming pickup crossed the median and collided with the van, police said. The injured driver of the truck, Steven Jordan, 32, of Indianapolis, was charged with driving with a suspended license. He remains hospitalized in critical condition, according to a spokesperson at Methodist Hospital.
