Their parents are Ronald and Mary Jo Battreall of Indianapolis and Fred and Patriail Bunch of Marshalltown, lowa. The bride graduated from Ball State University. Her husband is vice president of training for Charles Schwab and Co. Black-Penca Laura Marie Black of Indianapolis and Andrew James Penca of Los Angeles, were married Sept. 5 in Shawnee United Methodist Church in Lima, Ohio.

Their parents are Jack E. and Deborah Sue Black of Lima, Ohio, and James and Carol Penca of Peoria, Ill. The couple graduated from Butler University. The bride is a pharmacist for Osco Sav-On Drugs in Los Angeles, Calif. Her husband is a research and development specialist for American Honda in Los Angeles.

Boyer-Harrison Mary Patricia Boyer and Stephen F. Harrison, both of Indianapolis, were married Sept. 4 in St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Their parents are Bill and Mary Helen Boyer and Jack Harrison, all of Indianapolis, and Catherine Harrison of Columbus.

The bride graduated from Ball State University. She is a traffic manager for Her husband is a detail manager for Dan Young Chevrolet. Fletcher Whittaker Amy Nanette Fletcher and Christopher Len Whittaker, both of Rushville, were married Aug. 29 in Southport Baptist Church. Their parents are Carl and Sue Fletcher of Mooresville and Richard and Ruth Whittaker of Rushville.

The couple graduated from Vincennes University. The bride is an assistant manager for Marsh Supermarkets. Her husband is a police officer for the city of Rushville. Grinstead-Leinhos Carol J. Grinstead of Westfield and Jay Leinhos of Carmel were married Sept.

26 in Little Chapel of Weddings. Their parents are Norm Merriman of Sheridan and the late Barbara Merriman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed Leinhos of Westfield. The bride is a customer service and sales representative for Standard Lock-Nut.

Her husband is employed with the Indiana Department of Transportation. Hoffman-Hathaway Melissa Marie Hoffman of Indianapolis and David Earl Hathaway of Muncie were married Sept. 26 in Nativity Catholic Church. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs.

Robert L. Hoffman of Indianapolis and Virginia Hathaway of Yorktown and the late Henry Hathaway. The bride graduated from Ball State University. She is a paralegal for Lewis Wagner. Her husband is a carpenter for Carpenters Union Local 1016.

Hutchison-Crask Beth Ann Hutchison of Merrillville and Steven Edward Crask of Anderson were married June 13 in St. Louis De Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers. Their parents are Max and Clarice Hutchison of Crown Point and Jay and Nadine Crask of Anderson. The bride graduated from Purdue University. She is a supervisor at Conseco.

Her husband graduated from Indiana University- Purdue University at Indianapolis. He is a control analyst for Conseco. Roberts-Osborne Edda Franziska Roberts and John Joseph Osborne, both of Indianapolis, were married earlier this year. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs.

Harry M. Roberts of Wichita, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Osborne of Indianapolis. The bride graduated from Wichita State University.

Her husband graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. They are biochemists for Eli Lilly and Co. Jones-Smith Teresa Jones and Thomas S. Smith, both of Indianapolis, were married Sept. 13 in Little Chapel of Weddings.

Their parents are Marilyn Brewer of Indianapolis and the late Don Brewer and Don Smith and Anita Smith of Vidor, Texas. The bride graduated from the House of James Beauty College and Ivy Tech State College. She is an electronics technician for the Federal Aviation Administration. Her husband is a construction worker for Fabcon. Maxwell-Kibble Courtney Burns Maxwell and Derek Joseph Kibble, both of Indianapolis, were married Sept.

26 in St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard H.

Maxwell of Indianapolis and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Cox and Frank Kibble, all of Marion. The couple graduated from Indiana University. The bride is Washington Township Schools area coordinator for At-Your-School Child Services.

Her husband is technical recruiter for Aerotek. Rapkin-McDonough Liorah Ilene Rapkin and Edward Patrick McDonough, both of Indianapolis, were married Oct. 31 in Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation. Their parents are Joan M. and Myron C.

Rapkin of Indianapolis and Ruthann and Joseph V. McDonough of Carmel. The couple graduated from Indiana University. The bride is a technical writer for Howard W. Sams.

Her husband is a bookseller at Half Price Books, Inc. Renie-Witmer Stacey Dawn Renie of Fishers and Timothy Wayne Witmer of Indianapolis were married Aug. 15 in St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel. Their parents are Mr.

and Mrs. Tom Renie of Fishers and Wayne Witmer of Orlando, and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hobbs of Coldwater, Mich. The bride graduated from Indiana University.

She is operation officer for Union Acceptance Corp. Her husband graduated from Butler University. He is regional manager of dealer development for Union Acceptance Corp. Rouse-Justice Marleta Elaine Rouse and I Howard R. Justice, both of Indianapolis, were married Saturday in Family Christian Fellowship.

Their parents are Paula Rouse and Marvin Williams, both of Indianapolis, Marion Harris of Detroit and Howard Justice Sr. of Indianapolis. Thompson-Egan Rose Queck Thompson of Hurricane, W. and Timothy James Egan of Indianapolis were married earlier this year in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.

Their parents are William J. Thompson Jr. and Deborah L. Edwards, both of Hurricane, W. and Mr.

and Mrs. Michael P. Egan of Indianapolis. The bride graduated from Denison University and is a graduate student at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. She is a Spanish teacher for the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township.

Her husband graduated from the University of Dayton. He is a campus minister for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School. Wicker-Risk Stacey L. Wicker of Indianapolis and J. B.

Risk of Madison were married Oct. 10 in North United Methodist Church in Madison. Their parents are Judy Wicker of Indianapolis and Jim Wicker of Trafalgar and Jim and Connie Risk of Madison. The bride graduated from Hanover College. She is a buyer and purchase agent for Hill-Rom of Batesville.

Charles L. Aldous of Indianapolis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Charleston, S.C.,and a family dinner in Adam's Rib Seafood House in Zionsville. Mr. Aldous and the former Barbara Nash were married Nov. 7, 1948, in North Methodist Church.

He works for Indiana Lighting Center. Previously, he was a public relations representative and production supervisor 25 years for Western Electric Corp. She has been a secretary for 12 years for the Michael C. Lady Appraisal Co. They are the parents of Charles W.

and Rebecca S. Aldous, and have two grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Baker Mr.

and Mrs. Carl N. Baker of Indianapolis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house in Chapel Rock Christian Church parlor Nov. 21. Mr.

Baker and the former Lavon M. "Bonnie" Loftus were married Nov. 25, 1948. He was a sheet metal fabricator 21 years for Eagle Magnetic Co. and is semi-retired.

She was a matron 26 years for Valley Mills Elementary School, retiring in 1994. They are the parents of George E. and Kenneth A. Baker and Pamela J. Houchens, Carla M.

Littlejohn and Darlene M. Spaulding, and have 10 grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Mr.

and Mrs. Howard B. Bennett of Indianapolis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering on Friday in their daughter's home. Mr. Bennett and the former Norma J.

Owens were married Nov. 6, 1948, in Indianapolis. He is a former Marion County commissioner. She was head of payroll several years for Walker Information before retiring in 1996. They are the parents of Bonnie Woodlock and Jeffrey and Michael Bennett, and have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Bozich Mr. and Mrs. Frank J.

Bozich of Indianapolis will observe their 65th wedding anniversary Wednesday. Mr. Bozich and the former Angela M. Grabner were married Nov. 11, 1933, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

He retired from Eli Lilly and Co. in 1977. They are the parents of Carolyn Bozich Babcock and have a grandson and a great-granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs.

Hawk Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Hawk of Greenwood will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party at 2 p.m. today in Greenwood Community Center.

Mr. Hawk and the former Dortha Jean Williams were married Nov. 5, 1948, in Greenwood. He was a plant superintendent 20 years for General Devices, retiring in 1980. He is an Army veteran of World War Il.

She has been a telephone switchboard operator 10 years for Ameritech. They are the parents of James M. Hawk and Rhonda J. Clark, and have 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Mr.

and Mrs. Gastineau Mr. and Mrs. Merle E. Gastineau of Indianapolis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m.

to 4 p.m. next Sunday at The Meridian in Carmel. Mr. Gastineau and the former Ruth Hufford were married Dec. 29, 1948, Pipestown, Minn.

They have owned Gastineau Realty since 1960. Previously, they owned a John Deere implement business in Madison, S.D. They are members of Traders Point Christian Church. They are the parents of Gary and Kim Gastinaau and have two grandchildren. Mr.

They are also planning a trip to Germany and will attend two square dance festivals. Mr. Carr and the former Wanda Marshall were married Nov. 7, 1948, in Irvington Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. He worked 35 years for Central Soya retiring in 1984.

She worked for Indiana Bell Telephone Co. and Indianapolis Public Schools. They are the parents of Lynne Oliver and Larry and Leslie Carr, and have three grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs.

Cox Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Cox of Lawrence will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. next Sunday in Holiday Inn Express in Greenfield.

Mr. Cox and the former Rema Apple were married Nov. 13, 1938, in Lafontaine. He was an inspector 23 years for Ford Motor retiring in 1980. She was a clerk 16 years for U.S.

Postal Service, retiring in 1980. They are the parents of Sharon Davis, Judy Flach and Larry and Robert Cox, and have 13 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Gavaghan Mr.

and Mrs. James V. Gavaghan of Indianapolis observed their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. Mr. Gavaghan and the former Betty J.

Griffen were married Nov. 6, 1948, in Little Flower Catholic Church. He worked 32 years for the Indianapolis Fire Department, before retiring as a captain in 1978. She was a teacher's aide 15 years for Indianapolis Public Schools before retiring in 1990. They are the parents of Jim, Bill, Dennis, Pattiann and Bob Gavaghan, and have seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
